Beautiful view
The main attraction of this property is its fantastic location with sweeping views across the forests and coasts, up on a ridge just outside Tamarindo. Access is a bit tricky up a rutted dirt track but it is fine as long as your car has decent clearance. I'd agree with the hosts that a 4WD or at least an SUV is better here - might be tough in the rain.
The property is well appointed - decent, well stocked kitchen, superb en-suite master bedroom upstairs with staggering views, but other bedrooms need a bit of attention (more furniture, better blinds, bedside lights didn't work etc) and there are only two bathrooms. Space was fine for four of us (two couples) staying. The sliding doors need some work as they are very fragile and don't close properly.
Beautiful, really lovely, patio area by the also beautiful pool with a big palapa with ceiling fans and we spent a lot of our time here.
Overall, an extremely pleasant experience.
