About this property

McDaniel's Misty Blue ~ Cozy & Quaint Cabin w/ Exceptional Smoky Mountain Views

McDaniel's Misty Blue – Your Peaceful Smoky Mountain Escape

Looking for the perfect place to relax, recharge, and experience the beauty of the Smoky Mountains? Welcome to McDaniel's Misty Blue, a charming cabin nestled in the heart of Townsend—known as the Peaceful Side of the Smokies. Just minutes from the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, you'll enjoy the perfect balance of adventure and tranquility.
Upon arrival, you'll appreciate the spacious parking area with room for up to four vehicles. Step inside to an inviting open-concept living room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen, thoughtfully designed for spending quality time together.

Down the hallway, you'll find the comfortable primary bedroom featuring a plush king-size bed and a sliding glass door leading directly to the back deck. Slip into the brand-new hot tub after a day of hiking, tubing, or exploring the Smokies, and let your worries melt away. The main-level bathroom is conveniently located next to the bedroom and features a walk-in shower.

Traveling with another couple or friends? The second king bedroom offers added privacy with its own exterior entrance. Please note that this bedroom is not accessible from inside the main level of the cabin. Guests must access it by walking outside and down the back steps or around the side of the cabin. Because of this layout, it may not be the best fit for families with small children. This private suite also includes its own full bathroom with a tub/shower combination.
The fully stocked kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare meals during your stay, and the gas grill on the back deck makes outdoor cooking a breeze. In the evenings, curl up by the cozy fireplace with a good book, enjoy a family game night with our selection of puzzles and cards, or stream your favorite shows using the Smart TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi.

At McDaniel's Misty Blue, we want your vacation to be unforgettable. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, planning a romantic getaway, or simply escaping the everyday, we're happy to help make your stay even more memorable. Just let us know how we can add a little extra magic.
We look forward to welcoming you and hope McDaniel's Misty Blue becomes your favorite Smoky Mountain getaway—one you'll return to year after year.

We’ve left review of this property before, so I’ll just add updates to it. Had a lovely week in the mountains, courtesy of McDaniels Mistey blue. Bathroom has been updated with plenty of lighting, an new floor, and a beautiful walk-in shower.Everything functioned well, nice to have Roku in the three TVs. Hot tub was very pleasant and clean. Air-conditioning generally kept up with outside temperature over 90F.Great views from the solid deck with plenty of seating. Host is very responsive to any questions and communication.Enjoyed our rental immensely, and we would rent this property again and again.

The cabin was super clean and it was great having the kitchen labeled made it easy. We loved the hot tub and the view. The only thing i would say the cabin needed is a bigger TV, us old people have trouble seeing it lol. Overall it was outstanding.

Hi! My name is Jo Carpenter and I am so happy to meet you! I have been managing properties since 2015 and absolutely love it and my customers! I sorta stumbled into this profession after leaving "corporate America" and venturing out into the unknown with my wonderful husband and business partner - but I must say I wouldn't trade it for a minute! A good day for me is a satisfied and happy guest! A great day for me is a return guest! I will do anything I possibly can to help you make your stay with us one for the memory books! If you are celebrating something special - please reach out and let me know how I can help you make it fabulous! If you need groceries picked up from Kroger and delivered to the cabin before your arrival - please let me know. We want to earn your business and your trust. I am local and very responsive - I can be reached anytime by phone or the VRBO app. I am a short 20-minute drive to the cabin and I am typically in the area every single day. I hope you have an incredible stay with us and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
