Brian and his group were repeat guest and here for snowmobiling. Brian asked permission to use the wood burner which to me an always a good sign character! We welcome y'all back.
Very good property suitable for a group, family, hunting or snowmobiling stay. The place was larger than I thought and everyone is able to spread out. There are three beds one the first floor and three downstairs. Would definitely stay again.Very rustic and modern at the same time. Partially covered deck and fire pit with supplied wood.

The whole place was beautiful! There's even a third bathroom that's new on the second level. Will stay again!
This was our first time staying in old Forge, and it gave us an opportunity to really get some riding in not the best conditions but overall it worked out in our favor mother nature cooperated hope to come back next year and enjoy it again. The cabin is very nice and everything was accommodating.

Guest was very easy to communicate with, followed house and property rules and left the house in good standings. We welcome them back!
This cabin is absolutely perfect in many ways! We were up for 3 nights to snowmobile, it’s about 100 yards from the trail, it was very clean and cozy and well stocked! After a long day out on the sleds, it was the perfect cabin to come back to cook and have some drinks! We will be coming back!
The house was perfect for us. We had 5 guys come up to snowmobile for a couple days. Owner accommodated what needs we had. Very easy to get a hold of. Great location to hop right on to trail 4. Would recommend.

Good group of guys, respectful, conscientious and old school common sense.. We welcome you back.
We very much enjoyed our time at this property. Mark was very communicative through the whole process. He also checked in to make sure our arrival went ok.
The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. Lots of space to stretch out and 3 bathrooms!!! Amazing.
It was a great location close to Old Forge and a short drive to Inlet.
We were six adults on a weeklong sled trip. The house is perfectly located on the trail with close lake access. The house had plenty of room for us and it was clean. Mark was incredibly helpful with recommendations for riding, restaurants and everything else related to our trip considering we hadn't been to Old Forge, Tug Hill and the Adirondacks in general. Highly recommend.
We had an amazing stay. Very beautiful, welcoming home. The homeowners do keep many belongings in the home which was a new experience for us. Working around other people’s things. A little different. Also, the security cameras were mounted on the inside of the home, facing out. However having this in the master bedroom especially felt a bit ‘awkward.’
Mark was absolutely incredible to work with, responded within minutes any time we had a question. Even checked in to see how our stay was going. Lake access was easy to find. Super close to everything. Would definitely recommend
Our stay was great. It was quite, peaceful and very close to old forge town center. The house was so clean and beautiful! We would plan to return and recommend this rental to others. Owner was very responsive to our needs and always responded immediately.
Pros:
The cabin has two bedrooms on the first floor, and two communicating ones in the walk-out basement. Really nice space indoor and outdoor with a big deck. It is was clean and Mark was responsive to our inquiries.
It is located close to many easy family friendly hikes and Old Forge. It is a hunter cabin and though personally we did not enjoy the trofees mounted on the wall we could see that would be enjoyable for someone that has appreciation for hunting.
Caveats:
The fridge and freezer were a bit full and require a bit of cleaning.
Be aware that on top of the cleaning fee there is a $200 fee for linens and towels. A bit much for polyester sheets and one towel per person. It would have been nice to make this a bit more evident in the listening (my bad that I missed that in the amenities was not listed). Mark was accommodating and reduce the fee since we only used two sets of the bed sheets.
Also, it seems that you might have to take most of your trash out. It sounded like we should and we ended up just doing it anyway, but double check with Mark for clarifications.
Thank you Mark for sharing your home with us!
This was our first time in the Adirondacks and it was wonderful! The home was very clean and extremely well kept up. The owner was nice enough to set up a fire pit for us with chairs for nighttime. 10/10 would recommend this home to anyone!
House was clean, beds were comfortable. I wish the listing shared what floor the beds/bunks were on. We had to change around our sleeping arrangements because our kids were too young to be downstairs by themselves. Very close to town and we enjoyed water safari, fire, mountain scenic chair lift and 1st lake!
Thanks Marc for your quick responses when we had questions!
We really loved the place. There was even more sleeping options than we saw in the pics online. We enjoyed the large partially covered deck and the kitchen was great for cooking as a family.
