Wonderful place for a group stay. Game room and big slide were a big hit! Plenty of space to spread out and not feel crowded. Bunk rooms were great for youth. We hope to return to this house next year.

The house was very clean and spacious. We all enjoyed our time there. Plenty for the little and bigger kids to do. The kitchen has every appliance imaginable but was lacking in smaller cookware.The playground with slide was amazing but could use some repairs.The location was perfect, close to everything and the views were stunning. I would recommend this house!

Amazing experience

Extremely wonderful home and stay! The property was amazing a little difficult to locate with all the twists and turns of the mountains but you can’t miss it twice. The rooms were wonderful and the conversation pit provided the perfect place to catch up with family. Will be recommending this place to other families for reunions!

This is the best property we've ever enjoyed, and we've traveled a lot!

This home is filled with love, special details, an amazing kitchen, the best outdoor playground, and an amazing deck. What a stunning home. We felt very lucky to be able to enjoy it for a whole week.

Family Celebration of Pappy 60th Birthday

Nice location with a beautiful view. Plenty of activities to keep the grandchildren busy. House large enough 17 guests and room to spare. All in all had a good stay.

Better Than The Photos

Our group was beyond impressed with this property & I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the mountains with a big group. The house was clean, the property manager was very communicative & helpful (especially with the big snow storm) and our group now wants to make this a yearly tradition!

Golf Bo outing

For 16 men this house was perfect. Plenty of room/space to gather together and also spread out. Outdoor space was perfect. Location is convenient. Plenty of parking. Great views. Will definitely book this again. Well equipped and organized kitchen

Wonderful Place for Family

We held our annual family gathering at Hearthstone in Watauga County just between Boone and Blowing Rock, NC. Hearthstone was an amazing place to gather for a large family with children. There were so many games and activities available that we did not realize would keep us all so entertained. The views were spectacular and the amenities were excellent! We highly recommend Hearthstone.

Wonderful outdoor space

We came with a group of friends and all of our young children. The house is great with ample space and most of all we loved the amazing outdoor space with the play area for our children. On the first morning we realized the coffee maker was broken, but the agency immediately brought us a new one and were easy to communicate with. We definitely want to return to this home!

Relaxing weekend getaway

Enjoyed the stay. House is huge. A little outdated but so much to offer. The game room was a hit for my teenagers. Separate sitting rooms to accommodate everyone and allow different environments in each. Hot tub was nice although old and not all the jets work. Location is great as proximity to several towns and plenty of activity from white water rafting, zip line, horseback riding, hiking and more.

Great House for a Large Group

We had a large group (our “quarantine crew”) ranging in age from 10-63. We loved the huge table where we could all eat together. The game room was fantastic and kept the teens well entertained. Plenty of places throughout the home to sit and talk. The play structure is amazing and in warmer weather would have been in constant use. The kitchen was very well stocked. Thoughtful touches like a welcome sign and package of toiletries were nicely done. All in all we would highly recommend.

July 4th

This is our second time to Hearthstone and really enjoyed it! It is a perfect layout for all 19 of us. The only negative is that the property is ready for some updating. The carpets need cleaning, fire pit should be replaced, couch in the sunroom is torn, furniture worn, and some other minor issues. The upside is that we had teens and young children, so I really didn’t worry about anything.

Supper Club Wedding Weekend

This house was perfect! Everyone could have their own space! and If you needed to hide for a while, there’s plenty of room in this house! We were all up for a wedding weekend for one of our supper club kids! This house had plenty of room for entertaining…from 2 separate dens for movie/tv watching, a massive game room, a dining room table that would seat 18 and with an amazing view and more! Everything was clean and well stocked with all we needed. I hope that our group can come back when the weather is warmer and take advantage of the beautiful outdoor spaces, but the weather didn’t keep some from the hot tub!

Spencer- hearthstone

Loved the place Appreciated the high quality kitchen. We used everything with the rain and had a great time. The pictures of the view in your vrbo do not do justice to the view of the mountains. We suggest that you might redo a couple pics. Same is true for the playground. We found the fire tower trail that connects to the cone estate trails. It was beautiful and a real plus. You might mention your proximity and provide directions to the trail head.

Great place for a getaway

This place is wonderful. They have everything you’d need to take a large group to Boone for the weekend. There’s so many activities in the house and just a few minutes away in Boone. If you have a retreat or family reunion then this is definitely the place for you.

Excellent space close to many activities.

We really enjoyed this property. I took a group of 20 college students from our church, and they loved everything. The Kitchen has a double oven which is excellent when cooking for a group. The dining table can seat everyone and is perfect for board games. The numerous sitting areas are also great for group meetings and separate enough for a large group to split up and do multiple activities. If you have a group retreat this is definitely the place for you. Blue ridge rentals is also excellent to work with, they were very helpful in navigating the difficulty of Boone winter weather.
