The house has great bones and is in a wonderful location in the adorable village of St Felicien. The host was communicative and polite. The main problem is that the interior furnishings haven't been updated - the beds and mattresses are all very old. The kitchen had dishes and utensils, but we had to rewash everything. Many of the surfaces were dusty. It smelled like it had been shuttered for a while. We ended up getting a room at the local hotel after a single night. I hate to post a negative review, and the house has a lot of potential, but we felt it truly wasn't worth paying for in this condition.

Bienvenue en France et dans l'esprit authentique d'une maison de maître des années 1850. C'est le mobilier typique et l'ambiance chaleureuse qui plait d'habitude. Je suis navrée que vous ne vous y soyez pas bien sentis. Je pense que des lieux plus intemporels vous conviendraient mieux. Bien cordialement.

Maison très spacieuse, idéale pour réunion de famille

Nous avons passé 4 jours à 14 (grands-parents, parents et petits-enfants) dans cette grande maison. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'espace : entre les salons, la salle à manger, les grandes chambres, le terrain, la terrasse, le coin piscine, impossible de se gêner les uns les autres ! Nous aimons cuisiner, et avons trouvé la cuisine très bien équipée. Une remarque : la table de la salle à manger est un peu juste pour une grande tablée de 14 personnes. La vue est incroyable, très reposante, et nous avons trouvé des idées de balades/randos pour chaque jour dans les environs. Notre souhait : revenir en été pour profiter de la piscine !

Des locataires très soigneux qui ont laissé la villa tout à fait propre. Seul regret peut-être celui d’avoir retrouvé un placard privé ouvert (sans explication) et ne plus arriver à les joindre après la location. Mais la préparation de ce séjour a été agréable au téléphone. Les lieux ont été respectés! Nous sommes heureux que cette maison puisse permettre des retrouvailles!

Belle demeure...vieillissante

Nous avons été fortement incommodés par une odeur de remontées d'egoût, dès notre arrivée, et ce durant l'intégralité de notre séjour. De façon générale, une belle maison qui gagnerait à être rafraichie et rénovée sur ce standard de prix, à cet endroit... Nous avons été toutefois renseignés de façon aimable et réactive, sur les quelques moments qui le nécessitaient, et bien accueillis, par la personne chargée de ceci par les propriétaires.

Malheureusement vous avez bénéficié d’une météo épouvantable et pluvieuse… cette authentique maison du 18 eme peut libérer des odeurs dans ces périodes humides. Sans compter que vous n’avez pas pu profiter de l’immense piscine avec sa vue panoramique. Tellement désolés pour vous. Heureusement nous avons pu vous conseiller pour faire fonctionner le foyer de cheminée et aussi comment bien profiter du barbecue pour fêter comme il faut l’anniversaire en famille ! Nous espérons tous que le soleil revienne;))
