We have been renting first through Homeaway and VRBO for over 15 years. (Probably over 20 rentals) We rented at least 6 times in Canada, once in Costa Rico and the rest in the US. The hosts were the most considerate of any of these rentals. The place is great for 3 generation families.

This home and the surrounding views are amazing. We enjoyed the deer that came by for a visit often. The home is well stocked with high quality amenities…. and everything you might need for your stay. The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and available for any questions. This accommodation is for 6 adults and 4 children (3 bedrooms and I very small bunk room) but 2 of us 8 adults managed on the bottom bunks quite comfortably. A real gem!

The views were spectacular and the night sky was perfect for stargazing. Our family of 6 had a wonderful time, and the space allowed us all to relax. The kitchen was large and easy to make family meals. The hosts were wonderful, and the communication was easy. I would highly recommend this vacation home.

Wonderful stay! Clean, well-equipped, with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms, great communication from hosts and centrally located making it easy to explore nearby towns and beaches. We were a family reunion of 10 people, with kids aged 2 through 10, 6 adults and 4 kids, and everyone had enough space. Screened porch is lovely as is the upper deck for star-gazing, and wow, were there stars! Making s'mores at the firepit was also a big hit. Exploring the almost private beach at low-tide was delightful. Highly recommend!

Whitecaps summit was perfect for our adult extended family. We often enjoyed walking and lounging at low tide on the private beach and looking at sealife in the clear, warm water. Stargazing on the upper porch was fantastic--and we happened to be lucky enough to catch the peak of the Perseids. The screen porch was lovely for having brunch in the sea breeze with fewer mosquitos. The beds and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The location was excellent: quiet, picturesque, near good kayaking etc. etc. We went to Hirtle beach a couple of times for great waves and a great hike. The hosts went above and beyond, even getting us a portable power supply to help with using a cpap during a (planned) power outage. Love this place!

Quiet area with amazing views perfect for star gazing!

Amazing property with great views. The house had everything we needed and more. Would highly recommend the property for anyone looking to get away! I loved that each king bedroom had its own bathroom so perfect for 3 couples!

Awesome stay at Whitecaps

We had a great family reunion at the Whitecaps Summit and Retreat! Very nice, well equipped, modern homes with all the amenities. Highlights were the beach access, the firepits with firewood (we used both), the upper deck and deck blankets to watch the sunset and the big windows with ocean views in every direction!

Wonderful location

Beautify property. Great panoramic views from atop the hill. Property was new and very clean. Numerous small attention to detail items put in place by hosts to make it an extra special stay.

Beautiful in every way!

Peaceful, beautiful, clean, quiet with everything one could need while on vacation. The three King beds were the most comfortable beds any of us had ever slept on…wow! Great for 3 couples traveling together…3 full baths as well! For anyone traveling with kids the additional bunk beds are an extra bonus. We loved the view and location too!
