We offer you the best of both worlds in just a magnificent holiday. In our apartment you can stay in an elegant, quiet island - the Lido - with an excellent beach, tree-lined streets and all essential services. You can easily take the vaporetto and in 10 minutes you will be one of the most exciting cities, unique, beautiful, romantic, full of artistic and historical treasures - this is Venice!
A spacious, bright apartment with three bedrooms, on the second floor of an elegant apartment complex. You can either use the stairs than the elevator to enter the house, from where you can see the Adriatic sea from a terrace and a lovely canal on the other. The house is not far from the vaporetto, it is therefore possible to make visits to Venice during the day. Very near the center of the Venice International Film Festival, where every year are stars of international cinema.
The entire apartment has marble floors, and is decorated in traditional Italian style with all modern amenities. central heating for the cold months and air conditioning for those hot, bathrooms with tub and shower and a washing machine; linen and towels are included in the price. In the house there is a free wi-fi network, a television, a stereo with a CD collection. The large living room is a great room for the family to relax and eat together. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge-freezer, dishwasher, stove and microwave and has a large supply of utensils and crockery. In the house you will find many areas where to put your things, interesting furniture and original paintings.
Nearby there are bars and restaurants and the island's best bakery. A supermarket is to be found nearby. The bus stop is located two minutes from the house to tour the island or go to the ferries to Venice (local public transport by boat)
The owners of the house - living at the Lido and have always lived in that apartment - will pick you up at your arrival. Explain everything about home and answer your questions. Throughout your stay will be on hand for any advice or help. They speak English and Italian and - if necessary - can rely on friends who speak other languages.

We loved it on Lido!

This apt is GREAT! Super comfortable and a great location. We loved spending time at the beach and sitting on the terraces. Lido is a wonderful community to explore. The hosts were so kind, helpful and attentive. They offered us suggest on beaches, restaurants and parks. We loved this place and highly recommend it.

Delightful visit

This apartment was bright and clean. I loved the separation of the bedrooms from the rest of the apartment. The bathrooms were great. And the kitchen was cozy and light. There were so many windows and the balcony was a treat to enjoy. Plus the location was so close to the beach and shopping.

The apartment was as advertised. Quite large and functional. Comfortable. Minor nit picky issues- no cereal type bowls, stove balky, wine glasses not great. Good location, quiet.

Dear Bill, Are you sure that this is my apartment? Because: There is no stove in the apartment (the heating is automatic, with a heating plant separate from the house) There are 3 bedrooms (25 square meter each about - a normal size bedroom in a hotel is 16) 2 bathroom complete (wc shower bidet) a very large sitting room (38 square mater) 2 terrace, kichen. Concerning the glasses please note that the apartment provides sparkling wine flutes and normal glasses and honestly nobody has ever complained for this. Maybe next time you could request for special wine glasses if you need them. Best regard

Beautiful Lido

First I will have to say that Emanuela has been very patient and gracious with us. A family member left something at the property and she has been wonderful in helping us retrieve it. The property is very nice, clean and spacious and felt very safe. Emanuela met us at the bus stop and took us to the property. Her husband had also kept in touch with us. We got to see some beautiful beaches and ate at some very good restaurants within walking distance. Thank you Emanuela and Angelo.

A very lovely home for a quiet stay

I cannot thank Emanuela enough for the use of her lovely home on the Lido. She and her husband met us at the dock nearby. Their patience and kindness were amazing (my father has health complications and the long journey was hard on him, but they were so helpful to us all!) The apartment is perfectly equipped for all your needs. Situated on the Lido just far enough from the hustle and bustle of Venice proper, this positioning is great for visitors who know Venice well, but also for those who don't. It's all just a short boat ride away. Thank you again - I look forward to returning to Casa Felice!

Lido is unexpected find

This location and the size of the apartment was incredible . We are a family of 4 travelling for 3 weeks in Italy and this space was ideal and the largest apartment we stayed in during our holiday A big spacious apartment , free parking out front , bus stop 1 block away or you can walk to the ferry terminal which is 20 minutes along the shoreline. Lido was a gem , away from the crowds of Venice it is a beach community,wide boulevards and lots of food options . It is a 15 minute ferry ride to Venice . A 20 minutes ride to Murano and 30 minutes to Burano . The host Emanuela met us at the apartment and was very helpful and gave us great local knowledge regarding sites , restaurants and activities ( bike riding) The apartment is a block off the beach But the concentration of restaurants is by the ferry terminal Highly recommended, we will definitely stay here again !

Sehr ruhiger Lage. Kurze Wege zum Strand und zur Bushaltestelle. Große Wohnung, alles sehr sauber, viel Platz und alles vorhanden was man braucht. Sehr freundlicher Empfang, wir wurden abgeholt und uns wurde alles gezeigt und erklärt, inclusive Tipps für Restaurants, Wochenmarkt, öffentlichen Verkehr etc. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden die Wohnung wieder mieten. Ruhige sympathische Unterkunft auf dem Lido.

Die Vermieter waren wirklich sehr nett, haben sogar für uns aus dem Doppelbett zwei Einzelbetten gemacht und die Bettwäsche noch einmal neu bezogen! Wir würden die Wohnung wieder mieten.

Don't even know where to begin, it was absolutely perfect and the hostess a true gem!! So very helpful with restaurants and attractions. It is a bit of walk to the city center but worth it. There is a great restaurant just a few blocks away, La Cantinita, anything on menu is delicious, prices are good, and service is great.

This is a lovely property and Emanuela is a great host. Would totally recommend this property.

Emanuela’s apartment is a great size, a proper family living space. She and her husband were very welcoming to us on our arrival meeting us off the vaporetto and explaining to us about the strike the next day. Lovely people. The Lido is a great place to get away to in the evenings, away from the huddle and bustle of Venice. The apartment is about 15 mins walk from the centre but the buses are very frequent also. Plenty of restaurants both on the main drag and a number locally also. One word of warning relating to travel while in Venice, if you are getting a three day pass for buses and trains be sure to buy it from the website, don’t get it on your phone from the app as not all boat stops have smart readers and the buses don’t seem to know about them.

Good apartment to rent the owners are very nice and accomodating. It was good to be on the island away from busy centre, get yourself a waterbus ticket for however long you stay and you can get about very easily dont forget to validate your ticket though.

Tolle, helle, ruhige Ferienwohnung - nur zu empfehlen!

Wir haben als vierköpfige Familie eine wunderbare Woche in dieser tollen Ferienwohnung verbracht. Emanuela De Donà hat uns vom Vaporetto-Anleger auf Lido durch ihre sehr nette und deutschsprachige Freundin abholen lassen und uns den Start in die Ferienwoche dadurch sehr erleichtert! Die Wohnung ist großzügig gestaltet und gemütlich und wird durch Balkone zur sehr ruhigen Straße vorne und zum Kanal hinten sehr bereichert. Der Strand ist vom Balkon aus zu sehen und leicht zu Fuß für schöne Spaziergänge zu erreichen. Zwei Bushaltestellen liegen ganz in der Nähe der Wohnung. Somit sind Ausflüge ohne lange Fußwege per Bus/Vaporetto nach Venedig leicht zu bewältigen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, haben Venedig und Lido ausgiebig genossen und können einen Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung von Emanuela De Donà nur wärmstens empfehlen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Perfect location, BEAUTIFUL apartment and great host!

We will return to Lido! We were all over in Italy for 16 days total and the apartment in Lido was one of the highlights of our trip. Lido feels safe, neighborhood is friendly and you are one block away from a very beautiful well kept beach. Emanuela was a great host. Thank you!
