Beautiful appartment! Glorious view! Central but quiet!

Beautiful 3rd floor appartment with absoulutly glorious view of Grand Canal very near Vaporetto stop and central to everything but in very quiet location. Owner lives next door and is very obliging and sorted out some minor problems we had very quickly. Building has new installed lift so taking luggage to the apartment is no problem which is good as stairs are quite a climb. Would recommend.

Venice Idyll

Beautiful location overlooking the Grand Canal, just sitting in the living room watching life go by on the canal was perfect. The location of the apartment is very good for all sites which are an easy walk away and the local restaurants and bars cater for all tastes and prices.

Wonderful apartment in Venice

Just come back from an amazing stay in Venice. The apartment was in a great location, the views from the lounge were fabulous. You could sit and watch the world go up and down the grand canal. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. Our host was quick to respond to any queries we had before we arrived and even met us off the boat. Excellent apartment. Fabulous holiday. Would strongly recommend.

A perfect base for exploring Venice. Fabulous position on the Grand Canal

This is a wonderful apartment on the Grand Canal. Hugo, the owner was very helpful and welcomed us to show us the apartment . Lovely views over the canal, very spacious and very comfortable, a home from home. Very good for walking to St Marks Square, Rialto etc. We would certainly like to return if we go back to Venice.

A Memorable Stay

Venice is a magic place to visit, and this apartment adds to the spell. This is our second time of staying, and the memory of sitting in the window looking over the Grande Canal has stayed with me. And there are 4 windows to choose from! The apartment is spacious, beautiful, well furnished, spotlessly clean, and has everything you need for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. Being 5 minutes walk from the Accademia Bridge, and 2 minutes to S. Samuele vaporetto stop, means you are close to everything, yet in a peaceful area. And there are shops and restaurants within 3 minutes walk, so eating out or using the well-equipped kitchen is a difficult decision.

Perfect apartment and location

Everything about our stay was magical. Excellent communications with the owner throughout; a warm welcome; large, comfortable and spotless apartment and the best view and location you could possibly imagine. We welcomed in the new year drinking bubbly on the roof terrace while watching the fireworks in the sky above the Piazza San Marco, which we'll never forget.

Great stay in a spacious and wonderfully located traditional venitian flat

A very large and well appointed apartment. The Grand Canal View, kitchen, terrace, size of rooms were all highlights. The location is very good, in a quiet area of San Marco within easy walking distance (10-15 minutes) of Piazza San Marco and the Rialto, and conveniently situated next to the San Samuele vaporetto stop and the Accademia museum. A good selection of shops and restaurants within 3-5 minutes on foot - by Campo San Stefano. All in all, this is a wonderful base for exploring Venice. Hugues was very helpful and responsive - whether to print museum tickets or reboot the air conditioning (both wifi and air conditioning worked well). Thank you!! (One minor suggestion is that given the rental price, i think it would be nice to have a couple more basic condiments in the apartment - eg. olive oil - and I would probably expect not to have to pay extra for the coffee capsules).

Beautiful apartment in a fabulous position.

This lovely apartment is well appointed and beautifully presented. The views from the lounge are outstanding. It position is perfect, close to a boat stop (San Samuele) and just 10 minutes walk from St Marks Square. A couple of issues, air con and hot water were both dealt with quickly and efficiently by the owner Hughes. The roof terrace is a great place for enjoying breakfast and evening aperitifs. Our group of 6 adults enjoyed a marvellous few days in this beautiful apartment.

Amazing Apartment Overlooking the Grand Canal

Six seasoned travelers, after a couple of weeks exploring the Dalmatian Coast, settled for 4 nights into this beautiful apartment in sestiere di San Marco overlooking the Grand Canal with it's views of Accademia Bridge and Ca' Rezzonico. The pictures of the apartment were accurate but did not do justice to this beautifully appointed and very well maintained historic apartment. With 5 large windows in the living room opening over the Canal, many of us spent time just watching the gondolas, vaporettos, and other water traffic, including the many colorfully dressed contestants in the annual Vogalonga Rowing Regatta, pass beneath us. The Owner was there to greet us and was readily available during our stay to answer any questions we had about the apartment or the San Marco area (restaurants, wine and cheese shops, bakeries, etc.) The apartment's location could not have been better, as it was only a 10 minute walk from St Mark's Square, the Rialto Bridge, and other major sights, plus was surrounded by plenty of good restaurants and wine bars. The only (minor) negative was that the apartment was up 3 flights of stairs, making hauling luggage a bit of a challenge, but once ensconced in this beautiful apartment, the effort was well worth it. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to returning for another visit.

Amazing. Magnificent. Superb. Simply the best.

The photos just do not do this apartment justice. It is truly excellent. The location was perfect & just a 2 minute walk from the vaporetti stop. The view across the canal was awesome. What better to do after a day sightseeing but to sit at the open window with a glass of Prosecco watching the comings & goings on the water below.The bedrooms were so comfortable. The kitchen was fully kitted out with everything you could possibly need. The 6 of us had the most perfect of holidays. Thank you Hugues.

Superb

This apartment was exactly as described. Stunning views of the Grand Canal, elegant furniture, spotlessly clean. Hugues and his family very helpful and welcoming. Vaparetto stop just near by and lots of good restaurants in St Stefano square. We would heartily recommend this apartment and staying in central Venice, away from the crowds of St Mark's Square. Arrive by private taxi, if possible, it is the most wonderful boat ride! We would happily go back again.

Perfect position for the Papal procession!

The apartment was fantastic, Hugue and his family very welcoming, perfect location on the Grand Canal and very well equipped kitchen. The Pope's visit to Venice closed the canal and we watched as he passed with many colourful gondolas around him, a memorable occasion.

San Marco, Accademia, & Santo Stefano Area Gem

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay June 12 - 15, 2024, in this 3 bedrooms + 3 bath apartment with easy to access roof top deck veranda with table and chairs. Hugo was a wonderful, gracious, accessible, responsive, and nice host. Short vaporetto ride from Santa Lucia train station. The view out the drawing room windows overlooks the grand canal with a view of the Accademia bridge. Short walk to Campo Santo Stefano, Piazza San Marco, Campo San Barnaba. Ease of access to major Venetian attractions, as well as, the quiet neigborhoods, and sections of venice.

Absolutely fabulous!

Hughes was wonderful helping us to get to the home after leaving our car at parking. The location is fantastic. Very close to Academia bridge and close to lots of stores and restaurants. The home was very clean with plenty of sleeping and lounging space. Five of us. None under age of 17. Great air conditioning. The views are the best! Super great host who is incredibly knowledgeable, available, and helpful. Dinner recommendation was one of the best places we ate while there. We would stay there again, for sure! Don't pass this up.

Venice Dream

Four of us stayed in this beautiful apartment overlooking the Grand Canal. The apt is spacious, beautifully furnished and in a charming neighborhood. The owner, Hugo, was there to greet us when we arrived and provided all the info we needed about the apt plus restaurant recommendations, water bus info and even a water taxi to the airport for our return. We can’t say enough good things about this rental experience and we hope to be able to return.
