Our host was great the pictures did not do justice to the cabin. Cabin was way nicer than we expected. Hot tub was on point and there was room for our whole family. Loved the Christmas Decorations grand children were so happy to see the Christmas trees and deers we had a great time thank you for the new memories on this special day.. We will definitely come be back.
Very welcoming and accomidating. Hosted a group of us for a extended weekend. Facilities were clean and had plenty of places to sleep for 4 families with kids and friends. Host was very resopnsive to our needs. Overal this allowed for a very nice experience and one that our group will repeat.
We had a great time at Golden Bell Camp. The property was beautiful and very spacious. The activity director was very helpful and the facilities were better than expected.
Lovely surroundings, but kitchen situation was inadequate for cooking for 25 people. Needed 2 refrigerators and a pantry to store all the food we brought.
Great for large groups, lots of bathrooms. Kitchens decently stocked but if you’ll need something specific we suggest you bring it. Views of Pikes Peak and on a pretty quiet dead end road. We’d stay again if in the area with large group. Seems particularly well suited for children.

Thank you Andrew for your review! Please come back to see us!
We had 10 adults and 14 children (ages 3 - 14). The cabin and property were exactly what we wanted. Plenty of space inside and plenty of outside space where the kids could take hikes, see deer and play. Greatly exceeded our expectations! The hosts were wonderful to work with in the time preceding our visit!
The chalet was a wonderful place for our family reunion.
We had a wonderful time at the chalet and there was plenty of room for our family of 23. Bedrooms were very clean and comfortable and each had its own bath. Two small kitchens allowed us to use one for cooking and one for snacks and drinks. Cookware is limited so ask before you stay. We had access to a nice pool and two mini-golf courses, but be aware that the hours for the chalet guests' use of those are limited. Great location, wonderful hiking, and gorgeous views from the chalet. We had a bit of an issue during our stay and the hosts' response was helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again!
We had a great time and the property and location were amazing. The listing needs to be updated. The hot tub was not working and from previews reviews has not worked for a few years. Only 8 bedrooms were available because of flooding. They worked very hard to make sure that we had enough beds, but the flooding happened before I rented the property (4 months in advance) and this was not communicated to me until about 2 weeks before our stay.

Hello Valerie,
Thank you for leaving your review. As discussed, we had very high hopes that the house would be completed by the time you came to the Chalet. We've found that it is extremely difficult to get and keep workers in this area right now. I hope that the discount you received helped to make your stay worthwhile. We would certainly welcome you back to stay with us anytime. Sorry for any inconvenience you experienced.
We loved the Chalet at Golden Bell, in Divide, Colorado. We had 5 adults couples and 17 children. It was great to have all the adults with their own bathroom within their rooms. The great-room was fantastic for family gatherings. The activities at the lodge were great and the close proximity to Woodland Park and other areas is a real plus.
We were out in the woods with an excellent view of Pike's Peak. Nice surroundings with lots of space to explore and hike. The resort had a nice swimming pool and mini golf available for us to use. Hot tub was out of commission. But we were told that before we arrived. So we were ready for that. The rooms were adequate for us though the drawing was not to scale and one of the rooms was not even close to the size on the drawing. But we were able to move people around to fit. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

Great cabin but...
There was no one in the office to check us in when we arrived. We drive around the property for 45 minutes looking for someone. We finally found a volunteer who just gave us a bunch of keys for the large cabin we were staying in. We never saw the staff of golden bell. Once the random volunteer found the heap of keys, he had to drive/lead our large group of teens to the cabin which was about a mile off property. Once we got inside, the accommodations were as expected except the hot tub was empty! Also, the water shut off for about an hour on our last day there. We found random volunteer again and he helped get it back on. Golden bell is a beautiful place but the property managers were not attentive to say the least.
Overall the stay was spectacular! The cabin was beautiful with plenty of room for a large group! The back porch has a great view of Pike Peak mountain. The only complaint we had was the lack of amenities. The kitchen was stocked with bowls, pots, pans, spices and basic cooking items but was lacking foil, zip lock bags or anything to store left over food. We barely had any coffee when we got there so after 2 days we ran out, also no creamer. The hot tub was nice and warm but they did not leave out any chlorine so after 2 day it started turning green. The cabin is very private with lots of trees and a big driveway for parking. I do recommend staying here but just pack extras for the kitchen and bathroom as you will need them.
