Perfect stay

The property was lovely, had morning sunrise views and sunsets.location was very convenient to everything .The property manager was so friendly and helpful, we couldn’t have asked for better. We are already planning to go there next year.

Awesome view

Great place to stay. The view was so great from the decks it was hard to actually move to the beach. Kitchen was also well stocked with a variety of cooking tools.

The condo is a good location appliances need updating the television is set to where you have to put a code in to watch TV which I’ve never seen before and also the elevator broke down the very first day we were there and it seems as if the owner or the realtor were in no hurry to fix it, but it stayed broke the whole time we were there and it’s quite a hike up to the condo

Family weekend

We at a wonderful famiy weekend at Big Blue. The condo was nice and clean and with great views. It was walking distant to the boardwalk. We would stay at Big Blue again.

Love this property. 6 years in a row we have stayed here and it is a great rental. Close to the boardwalk, steps from the beach, we love our trip to Carolina Beach and Big Blue.

Great time at Big Blue

Great location, very clean. Added the linen package for convenience. This is our first time at Big Blue, but 3rd time visiting Carolina Beach. Close to everything. We will be back!

What an amazing stay! More than what we expected for our 10 year wedding anniversary. The place was larger than expected. Roger was so considerate, patient and quick to respond. You will not be disappointed. If I could give 10 stars it wouldn't be enough.

Beautiful Condo, Perfect for Familes

Three girlfriends of 40 years and our moms stayed for a long weekend getaway. It was perfect for the 5 of us, especially the elevator for those who can’t easily do steps. The location and views were amazing. The condo is beautifully decorated, spacious, and provided everything we needed. Large table was great for game playing and laughter! We would definitely rent again. The linen package is well worth the extra cost

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time at Big Blue this year. There was room for everyone, and the location was perfect! Roger was great in helping us prepare for our arrival. This beautiful home has everything you need to enjoy a wonderful week at the beach. We never got in our car after arrival. Thank you Roger for sharing your home! We look forward to visiting again!

This property suddenly changed hosts right before my arrival. The previous host reached out to me and I reached out to VRBO. Finally after two attempts, they were able to reach the new hosts who contacted me two days prior to my arrival. They had never visited the property nor knew I was coming! Communication was lost between VRBO, the owners and the new property management. The property is also undergoing new siding renovations which entailed loud construction noise and men right outside our windows with no blinds looking into the kitchen. Not what we expected for a peaceful beach retreat. That being said, the home itself is perfect for us! Large enough for a family, the kitchen has all you need, furniture and beds are confortable, and the beach view is beautiful!

Everything we wanted!

This house was perfect for everything for a 6 person friend trip. Beautiful views of the ocean. Beach access right across the street. Walkable to everything you could possibly need - restaurants, bars, shopping. Roger was very nice and informative for everything we needed to know about the house. We didn’t use the elevator for ourselves, but it was awesome for loading in groceries and luggage. 10/10 would book again!

Family beach week

We highly recommend Big Blue! The condo was even bigger than we thought it would be. It was well equipped, clean and the elevator was a terrific plus. The beach access is very close. The beach is clean and there is a lifeguard. Roger, the host, was very responsive to all of my questions. He provided good directions and info about activities and restaurants on the island. All 6 of us agreed we would love to return to Big Blue if we can.

Perfect place and location

The house had everything a family spanning three generations could need. Recommend your buy the linen package for one less item to tote from home. Be aware the package is for the bedrooms and doesn't cover the fold out sleeper in the living room. Also if you need more than one towel per person bring extra. Highly recommend this place.

Ideal Location

Even though our stay was brief, our family enjoyed staying at this condo! The proximity to the beach, lake, and boardwalk was ideal. If desired, it is possible to park your vehicle and not have to drive for your entire stay. My husband and I arrived first, and we had a little difficulty finding the light in the elevator, but once we did (with the owner's help, of course!), it was alright. This was the first time we had ever had access to a residential elevator. This condo is beautiful and spacious! We really enjoyed being on two floors and being able to spread out! My husband and I enjoyed being on a floor by ourselves! I don't think anyone would regret staying there.

Great rental with all the amenities

I can't say enough good things about Big Blue! We stayed for a week and we had a blast. The condo comes well-stocked with everything you need. We did get the add-on linen package so that we didn't have to bring sheets. So that was helpful. But otherwise, the owner provided additional beach chairs and boogie boards in the garage. The kutchen came fully stocked. And the elevator was a huge convenience for our elderly family who have trouble going up and down stairs. We left already thinking about how we could rent Big Blue for next year!
