Just bring your own passwords for Netflix, Hulu, etc and you're ready to stream any content you choose.
Standing in the well-equipped, restaurant inspired kitchen, you can almost smell the pizza baking from years past. It's equipped with all the basics including a Keurig coffee maker with , coffee pods, sugar, tea kettle and assorted teas. Given La Piccola's culinary history, your food will almost cook itself!
Original features abound like hardwood floors and pressed tin and bead board ceilings. Memorabilia of La Piccola's past abound with each having its very own story. My daughter who stayed in the property said it was charming and the owner/operator of the property was so very helpful to them about information, things to do and so on. When I made a mistake on the booking date, he made an accommodation for us, which was greatly appreciated. Great place to stay!
Joe was super hospitable and welcoming. The house was well appointed and close to everthing in Pacific Grove. Will definately stay here again when back in PG!
This is our second time at this adorable home. We love it!! Joe and Laurie are always awesome. Easy to communicate with them and just wonderful. Cannot wait to book again. It is so walkable to many restaurants and such.
Lovely helpful owners, super clean, well thought out use of all the spaces. The memorabilia pictures and decorations everywhere were fun. We went to play golf and wander the town and it was perfect for us. Thank you Laura and Joe.

We loved our stay. Can’t wait to return. Roomy little spot close to so many restaurants, cafe and shopping. We walked to every meal we ate out. The kitchen is top notch. We didn’t get to use it much this trip but looking forward to cooking in it next time. Beds were comfortable. I have nothing but praise for this spot
The cutest and cleanest house with a great history to it, within walking distance of downtown Pacific Grove. Joe is so nice and responsive, and did everything he could to make our arrival and stay enjoyable. 10 minutes to 17 mile drive and under 15 minutes to all the golf courses there. Wonderful and well appointed property that you would love booking!
I don’t give 5 stars because I need to distinguish between “fine” and “extraordinary.” La Picolla Casa deserves 5+ stars. The house is cuter and cozier than even the photos. Joe is a hospitality genius. We were wanting for nothing. The house is so well equipped. We would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you Joe and bravo!
Super cute, very comfortable for the 4 of us. Plenty of space, two full bathrooms, which works out great when you travel with three women. We did not take advantage of the full kitchen and washer and dryer, this would be ideal for longer stays. Lots of little extras: coffee, creamer, shampoos, laundry detergrent, etc.
Location is perfect for the Monterey area, good restaurants and shops are located on 17th street and within a few blocks. Lovers point and the Monterey Bay are just a short 4/5 blocks away. Canary Row is a mile away.
Joe and Laurie, the owners, were very welcoming when showing us the house when we arrived. Joe even came over the next day to help me with the thermostat, which wasn't an emergency but much appreciated.
Thanks Rombi's, we had a great visit!
All the best,
Kaufman's
The locations was fantastic. Had a great dining experience at the Italian restaurant next door. The house had everything anyone could need for a vacation. Joe was a great host.
I have stayed in numerous properties, and this by far is one of the most pleasant yet. The location was perfect for my disabled brother, who could easily walk all of Lighthouse Ave. We could walk to numerous restaurants, grocery and a great bakery. Only a few blocks from Lover's Point and enjoyed beautiful walk along the ocean. House was spotless, and spacious for our group of three. No detail has been overlooked. Linens upper quality as you would experience in high end hotel. Host very responsive and friendly. Met us in person to tour the house (so unusual these days), so we would know where light switches, etc. were located. Hope to visit again!
We stayed at Joe’s place while I was running the Big Sur Marathon. Communication with Joe was very simple and easy. The cottage is very clean and Joe has really thought of everything to make your stay great! The location is top notch! I love how he had throw blankets to use as we used them outside on the porch to stay warm while enjoying wine outside. We would definitely return here again the next time we are on the peninsula! Thanks Joe!!
The house is great! A house full of history. It’s in a great location, close the ocean, restaurants, and shops. The owner is very helpful and super friendly.
Now that we''ve stayed at Joe Rombi's charming, sumptuously stocked and spectacularly located Pacific Grove cottage, no other place on the Monterey Peninsula will do. Joe is a former longtime award-winning restaurateur and it shows with his expertise for hospitality and making guests feel welcome and at home. Coffee, real half and half - not powder, bottled waters and hotel quality toiletries in each of the two spacious bathrooms. Decor delightfully combines the best of old and new with all new high end bathroom fixtures. The parking pass Joe gives you is for the large lot right across the street so no trying to squeeze into a tiny spot. Best of all, the cottage is steps away from the main street with shops and restaurants and just a few short blocks to the beach and the paved walkway right into downtown Monterey!! We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to this wonderful area.
The location is great, walking distance to a variety restaurants and retail. The hosts are well know in the community,as for the house it was well appointed and very comfortable.
This is a great house to stay in while visiting the Monterey peninsula. It's right in downtown Pacific Grove so you can walk to restaurants and even a movie theatre. It's very clean and has also the needed amenities.
My wife and I are avid restaurant fans, so the idea of staying in one fascinated us. Joe Rombi’s gracious hospitality upon our arrival displayed pride of ownership. The place is full of history and personality. Extremely comfortable beds, an epic kitchen and great location in PG. We highly recommend it!!
