Sunfish Haus- is a rustic 2/1 sleeps up to 7 guests. The first bedroom has a queen bed, 2nd bedroom has a full. There is also a twin bed and futon in the living room. We have a twin rollaway to sleep an 8th person. Has a full kitchen, full bath, enjoy your evenings on the deck. Located next to the Guadalupe River at Lake Dunlap. Its within 2-4 miles to most attractions to include Schlitterbahn, Tubing, Gruene, Shops, Restaurants.

New Piers but in this year perfect for swimming fishing, and relaxing by the river. We have a shared pool that can be heated per request. Contact the host for pricing. pool will be heated and warm from 10 am to 8 pm. Heated to 85 degrees (not like a hot tub)

Great weekend getaway

Property was as advertised And was perfect for a weekend getaway with our teenagers and two dogs. Loved relaxing on the back deck!

Short getaway

Property was fine for what we were looking for. With directions from the manager we were able to get around the property and to the fishing spots. Store within walking distance from the cabin. Convenient to Gruene. Very pleased with our stay and will definitely be back for more!

Not great value

Pros: air-conditioner, pool, clean, good communication, friendly vacationers in other houses, New Braunfels is lovely, we could bring dogs Cons: property not in good condition, no smoke or carbon monoxide detector, local area rundown, site workshop directly under house, loose floorboards on deck, bad mattresses, surfacing in pool ripped up kid's feet and legs. For $500 per night (when all the extra fees etc are included) it wasn't good value.

Sunfish home was perfect! Built in 1939, this house is a super quaint part of a neat little 7-house compound. The homes are older, but very clean and well-kept. They are pretty close together but surprisingly had plenty of privacy. The Sunfish home had several windows with tons of natural light, making it easy to welcome each morning. The deck quickly became a daily sitting space to listen to all that nature had to offer. The only drawback from this home is the bathroom being located inside the bedroom. Each home has private pathways to patios, gazebos with grills and plenty of seating. The pool is a nice addition. It made for a wonderful hangout with our group, as well as the new friends we met. The hot tubs were nice and clean. The houses are right off the water, so the private docks made great little fishing spots. Tom was very responsive and attentive to all of our needs. We will definitely be returning.
