I'm absolutely in love with this place. Beautiful, homey, and peaceful. Home away from home. Everything is clean and you can tell the owners care and are very accommodating. Extra care is taken to make you feel welcomed. Can't wait to come back.

We were very pleased with Al’s nest! Everything was perfect! Love the size of the cable, it perfect for 2. We loved the size of the hot tub some we have stayed in the hot tubs where so small almost felt like a bath tub. We will definitely be back to Al’s Nest!! We have been coming to Mentone for years as just a weekend to reconnect and relax!! We have found are favorite cabin!!

Beautiful property and cabin. Would stay again. Loved the trails behind the cabin, fire pit and grill. Also the neighborhood cat and a couple of dogs came to visit. Very small shower. But it got us clean lol. Host was very communicative. Looking for a quiet spot away from ppl? This is the spot!!!

The host was very welcoming and the muffins she left were wonderful! Everything was great, and the trail in the neighborhood was beautiful with lots of wildlife. Such a beautiful setting!

The cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was very clean, bed was comfortable and kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. Very private and quiet. Will definitely stay here again.

This has been the best rental we've ever stayed at! The property was gorgeous, absolutely loved the hot tub and fire pit and really enjoyed the hiking on the property to the river. We will definitely be staying here again in the near future!

ALS quaint cottage is everything it says it is. There are steer and moo cow across the way making eyes at each other. Adorable…. There was a beautiful big brown Labrador that came to greet us and hung around for a pet or two. The house was quiet and out of the way and we so enjoyed the Jacuzzi. We ate too much and sat around being lazy. It was perfect for our purposes. The owners were great communicators and wonderful hosts. Thank you.

Very neat and clean and quiet mountain getaway. Hot tub stayed consistent temperature all the time. Outdoor fire pit area was relaxing day or night. Covered parking for vehicle was a Plus. Overall great place! Will definitely come again.

Wonderful Host! Very private and away from the hussle and bussle. We were greeted with fresh danish and information of things to do in the surrounding area. Loved exploring the property and hiking the trail down to little river. Already planning our next trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Al's Nest! The host left us blueberry muffins and other goodies, the cabin was stocked with all the necessities needed and plenty of firewood. It was the perfect weekend getaway for two!

The cabin and all it offered exceeded our expectations! We are already discussing a return in the spring or early summer. I can’t say enough about the fireplace, or the hot tub, or the wonderful cabin itself. The property was definitely a part of the charm, including the fire pit. We plan to return!
