A beautiful piece of property. Wonderful views. Very quiet and private. Plenty of space to spread out in the house. A great yard for your dogs. We certainly enjoyed our stay. Would like to have stayed longer.

The cabin was wonderful. My family and I really enjoyed getting away and having a cozy place with awesome amenities that heightened our mountain vacation. I would definitely stay again.

The host was very responsive and helpful during our reservation. The home is on a beautiful property and within a great location. Our family really enjoyed being able to spread out to 2 floors and would have enjoyed the outdoors more if it hadn't been rainy. But the hot tub made for a good activity despite the rain. Great place and covers the amenity needs. Host was also very helpful to respond when we needed an extra day and helped us extend while we dealt with an injured puppy. We appreciate the consideration and flexibility. Thank you so much.

Spacious and comfortable cabin, beautiful views. 7 adults and 2 babies under 2, had plenty of room. There were some minor opportunities with cleanliness like dishes left in dishwasher, dirty towels left in washer and used medical diabetes arm monitors in bathroom shower. I did a light clean up and then felt more comfortable. We would go back.

Family Fun

Great place for a weekend getaway! Wish we had more time to relax on the deck, in the hammock, in the hot tub, or at the fire pit. Perfect location to access Valle Crucis, Boone, Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain.

Relaxing Stay

We enjoyed our stay. Could have been a little cleaner, the fridge smelled pretty rancid, there were still dishes in the dishwasher and there were too few towels. The hot tub was nice but pretty dated. We made the best of it.

Fall get away

The property was perfect for our 2 families of 4. There was plenty of room for the kids to play. The hot tub was amazing and fire pit was a perfect way to end the day with the gorgeous mountain backdrop. The house was clean, beds super comfortable. We would 100% stay here again!

Well appointed cabin with gorgeous property and view

This was a beautiful cabin with plenty of room, fabulous views from every room and porches all around for taking in the views. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. Many games and movies available for use in the lower level game area.

beautiful views

Loved the property and all what came with it. It had everything you needed and more. Kids loved the hot tub, loft, game area, and fire pit. Beautiful open views with live deer daily. So much beauty to enjoy. Location is a bit far from activities when having to endure longer car rides with children in tow, but doable since one knows you are in the mountains.

Great spot. House was very spacious and had a well equipped kitchen. Directions need to be improved. Gwaltney rd has no sign. Turn left at sunken barn with red roof. Don't not use GPS. If you go in the winter, come with 4wd! Hot tub was nice but, fire pit a little difficult to get to but, the yard is beautiful! Overall, great location and private. We loved our stay!

Wonderful Mountain Getaway

My husband, I, and our two dogs came up for a long weekend with the goals of relaxing, enjoying the snow, and the beautiful Mountain views. The yard was huge!! Plenty of opportunity for the dogs to run safely and for us to enjoy the snow and sledding. The view of the mountains from the porch were spectacular! Love the wrap around porches!! The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy meals and plenty of space throughout the house for a large group of people to stay. The hot tub is in great condition and we really loved that addition to the house. The gate at the top of the stairs was another nice touch and the laundry/mud room was perfect for all of our snow gear. 4 wheel drive is an absolute must in the snow/winter months in order to reach the house. We would absolutely book again!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!
