We had a wonderful stay! The house is plenty spacious, very clean, and has a great location right on the river. We enjoyed eating our meals on the porch, overlooking the peaceful river below. We would love to book this house again and again!
Thank you for the great feed back. We are thrilled that the home met and or exceeded your expectations. We look forward to welcoming you back to our home again in the very near future.
The entire family excited everything about our visit at the cabin by the river. Check-in was fast and easy. Even the long drive caused by Helene knocking out the bridge was enjoyable. The only regret is the stay was too short.
We were totally impressed with the facility, the decor and amenities. Very hospitable and comfortable. The final few miles drive on unpaved trails were a bit of a challenge, but expected in the river/mountain area. Very beautiful scenery. Only regret was steep river bank and virtually impossible access to the water.
The view and access to the river made our stay very relaxing.

The property is private and has a beautiful view out the back of the river. The decor was cute, the house was clean, and the towels were soft. We had a great stay and enjoyed the property very much.
We had an amazing time. House was very nice and spacious. We loved tubing and playing in the river. Would definitely recommend this property for families.

Thank you so much for sharing! Our greatest reward is hearing from our guest that they had a great time and enjoyed the home. Take care and we hope you will revisit again soon.
Many thanks for sharing your experiences. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed the home as well as the surrounding area. It is our hope that a future revisit is in the works. Take care and safe travels!
Great host experience. Some of the finishes could be updated and refined for the price. Since the hurricane, the access road is confusing. Upon accessing the gravel road there is a sign that says your GPS is wrong, and the street sign is twisted. Access road should be parked better.
Good location to town and other attractions. We did some ATV riding, rented a boat and some gem mining.
We will probably come later into the summer just to ensure the weather is a few degrees warmer. It was a little too chilly and rainy to do the river tube.

This was a perfect house for our family to gather for a summer vacation. It was roomy enough for all our kids, plus grandson. The location was simply amazing, quiet, nice river access, and easy to get to. Only downfall was there was a vent located under the porch, I believe for safety and airflow which is completely understandable, but it was quite loud. Took away from sitting on the back porch and enjoying the quiet. Other than that, everything was amazing. We would definitely book this home again.

Thank you so much for sharing. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the home. We cannot wait for you to arrange a revisit. Take care.
The cabin is everything you would expect based on the listing. Beautiful, right on the river, very rustic, a true mountain cabin. Beds were comfy, kitchen pretty well stocked with cooking and eating stuff. The only things not on the awesome list is that the basement flooded when we were there. A couple of notes for anyone interested in renting this cabin: a) not a good rental for families with toddlers b) when they say the roads to the cabin are rough, they mean it, and c) this is run by a rental agency and isn’t stocked the way many short-term rentals are. They send very detailed list of what they provide. If you think you might need anything else that is not in the list, bring your own. I wound up running to the store for trash bags, foil, baggies, etc.

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Not what we expected !
The property wasn’t cleaned very well and it had mouse traps all over the house with a dead mouse in the lower level. Would not recommend it.
