Perfect for the family!

This place is the best location, it was clean and well decorated. Check in/out process is at another location which is slightly inconvenient.

Thank you for the feedback, we're sorry you feel it is to inconvenient to check in at our office 1 mile from the complex. There is no office onsite as the units are owned individually and have different management companies. Please keep this in mind on your next trip. Thanks, NBE.

Lon Weekend Getaway

Our family of 7 (6 adults and one child) had a wonderful stay at the property. The location was perfect for riding the Comal several times in a row. We saw deer in the backyard everyday which was a treat!

Comal Cozy Condo

We had a blast at our condo on the comal. Tubing, fishing and Schlitterbahn kept us busy during the day. We cooked and hung out in the condo at night. Location was superb. We spent four days at the condo and wish we had booked seven.

Disappointed by pool

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pool was green and not swimmable. This was a great disappointment considering we were planning to use daily. Dishes had to be washed prior to using.
Response from VrboOwner on 13 Aug 2024
Hello Kelsey! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. In regards to the pool unfortunately it was out of our control due to the fact that it required a part for the filter that had to be ordered. The HOA wasnt able to get the issue resolved for several days until the equipment arrived. Regarding the dishes if we had been notified during your stay there was an oversight in the cleaning we would have been more than happy to send the cleaners back to take care of that. We always strive to provide a 5 star stay and apologize yours fell short. We hope you will give us another chance in the future. Thanks NBE

Nice overall

The property is smaller than the pictures appear. Our party of five was comfortable but any more would not have been. The place purportedly holds nine. The kitchen is small allowing only one person to work in there. The grounds were nice and we saw deer daily. It backs up onto the Comal. There is a drop in point a short walk away that allowed a float of about 30 minutes back down to the property. The pool was nice. The property is across the street from an entrance to Schlitterbahn and just a short drive from restaurants.

Vincent, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear your group enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, daily deer sightings, and the convenient river access — it’s always a treat to float right back to the property! We’re also happy you enjoyed the pool and the prime location near Schlitterbahn and local restaurants. We do appreciate your honest notes about the size of the home and kitchen. While the property can sleep up to nine guests, we understand that comfort levels can vary depending on group dynamics and preferences. Your input helps us better communicate expectations and make improvements where possible. Thanks again for staying with us — we hope to welcome you back in the future for another relaxing visit! Thanks, NBE

Very satisfied, only one minor gripe.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a very fun time! The place was clean and everything was straight forward and easy. The top bunk of the loft bed was an uncomfortable air mattress, but the other beds were quite comfy. Overall we were more than satisfied with our stay. Would recommend trying out the Scruples game there. The cards are very dated and hilarious.
Response from VrboOwner on 26 Sept 2022

DO NOT stay here if you value a comfortable place to sleep!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great. The condo was clean. It had everything we needed. Our only complaint was the mattress in the master and one other room was quite honestly the most uncomfortable mattresses I’ve ever slept on.(That’s not an exaggeration!) It felt like we were sleeping directly on a box springs. I contacted management about it after the 1st night and was told the owner just bought new mattresses last winter. IF that’s true they bought the absolute cheapest they could find. For the price you pay to stay here you’d expect at least a moderately comfortable place to sleep at night. We couldn’t wait to get home just to get some sleep.
Stayed 3 nights in May 2021
Response from VrboOwner on 3 Jun 2021
Thank you for the feedback! I am so sorry that the mattress was not comfortable for you! The owner did just purchase that mattress this last winter. Unfortunately it is difficult to find a mattress that everyone enjoys, as some people prefer firm mattresses and some prefer a soft mattress, but we will definitely pass this information on to the owner. We do manage over 100 properties, please give us a call directly next time you come to town and we will help you find the perfect property! Thanks, NBE
