Perfect spot for exploring the Redwood State and National Parks. The property grounds are beautiful and serene. The town is quaint and beautiful. The house was well appointed and comfortable. Plenty of space to relax after long days of hiking and driving. Would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: this was our 4th time staying at raven ridge - we had fires each night and sat around talking about the Spirit world and how we can catch glimpses of It here in the matrix with our Loving thoughts - walking the trails behind the home in the late evenings, the quiet stillness allowed us to detach from the cares of the world...we sang hymns to the Silence and gave Thanks to the One

The home was so nice. It is nestled in 4 acres of redwoods but still has a nice small yard to walk around on. We planned on doing some hikes, but we ended up just staying on the property and enjoyed the private hike and creek area. The home is just charming. It is so quiet and peaceful. Very restorative.

This property is AMAZING!! It exceeded our expectations. So beautiful and peaceful. So quiet and serene. The koi pond was beautiful and we enjoyed feeding them daily. I would definitely visit again!!

This was the best VRBO home that we've ever stayed at. They have their own redwood forest with a small trail on the property. The views from every window in this home are stunning. The home itself is super clean and well maintained. It is custom built and has a lot of personality. Nothing about it is cookie cutter! The hot tub was clean and welcome after a long day of hiking in the nearby national and state parks. I wish I could have stayed longer. In fact, if the hosts want to adopt me I'll move in and care for them in their old age.

This property is defiantly a great location for a relaxing get away with your significant other. Secluded enough to feel like your in the woods all alone, and close enough to be in Trinidad or on 101 in less than 5 minutes. For us the spring timing was amazing with all the rhododendrons in bloom, along with other flowers on this property. This beautiful home will make you feel totally relaxed whether your inside or out, everything is maintained very well.

The flora on the property was stunning and to have your own little redwood grove and trail made it magical. The management team at Trinidad Retreats were so easy to work with, they were always quick to respond and very accommodating. A return trip to the redwoods since I was a kid has been at the top of my bucket list, thanks to this spectacular home and setting and those involved, my dream was met beyond all my expectations.

We absolutely loved this house. It was spotless. The location was amazing for hitting all of the Redwood National and State Parks. We are fortunate to travel often and this house was absolutely one of the top properties we have ever stayed at. Items were labeled clearly with all of the amenities needed.

Although the photos of the site were Great online ... the location was actually better than the photos. We enjoyed the house so much ... we spent more time there than actually driving around the area, as we had earlier planned. The restaurants in Trinidad were good ... and we especially enjoyed playing croquet, ping pong and cards. We also looked forward to feeding the fish each evening in the Koi ponds.

What we found was a perfect piece of paradise nestled in the trees. What a beautiful, well-kept home in park- like, peaceful surroundings. Loved all of the pictures displayed throughout. We were close enough to town and beaches to enjoy meals out and go fishing; hidden away enough to truly enjoy the tranquility and quiet we so desparately needed. Love love love this place, and would love to visit again.

Absolutely wonderful stay. It felt so homey and quiet. Layout of the home was very intimate with all sorts of interesting areas yet open with great architecture. The artwork around the house is exquisite. Landscaping in the redwood forest is a great detail. Convenient to groceries, freeway and parks but feels like it’s miles away. No complaints! Thanks for letting us stay here.

Winter getaway in the Redwoods!

Perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful time at the house! Kids loved feeding the fishes and occasional visit from neighbor's cat that we named Ginger. Loved the trails around the property and everything about the house, and the area.

Amazing area, peaceful and majestic

Driving in to the driveway seems like you’re entering another world. The ponds, decks, hot tub, trails, and all of the details in the house are really nice. Everything was great, we will definitely stay again when we get a chance!

Private Redwood Park

We really enjoyed staying at this residence. The property has its own trails through the Redwoods. The property is also very neatly and beautifully landscaped. The house was full of interesting art and collections. An absolutely wonderful place to just "hang out"!
