This was a perfect place to stay for my family of 5 adults. We spent most of our time cooking or in kayaks. The kitchen was stocked with whatever we needed. Having kayaks ready out back was a huge convenience and highlight of our stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. We plan to stay here again!
Our family enjoyed our stay at this compact cabin with expansive views. Comfortably furnished, adequate closet space, extra hangers, fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom configuration worked for us, though be aware that two adjoining bedrooms (one with queen and the other with bunk beds) are connected, but separated by a sliding door. We were 4 adults, and 2 children under age five (there might be an extra charge for occupancy over 4 people). The canoes, kayaks and paddle boards are a bonus, as is the driving proximity to gorgeous hiking trails. The Grand Lake area is visually stunning. Hosts were responsive and helpful. This was a great weekend getaway.
Pretty lakefront property. The home was very clean and comfortable. Kayaks and SUPs were easy to access. My 4 year old and 3 year old loved going out on the lake.
My wife and I got away for a long weekend for our anniversary, and this cabin near Grand Lake was perfect. Just a short drive from the center of town and other attractions in the area. And sitting out with a fire right on the lake was just what we needed. Paddleboarding was also a fun experience and great workout. We’d absolutely come back!

Happy anniversary! Hope you can make it back again soon.
What a cute little cottage/cabin! The views were amazing and the provided kayaks were wonderful. We had such a good and relaxing time. Felt right at home!
Kristin and Tom were absolutely great to work with. They both made the experience seamless and were very responsive. The house was everything we expected it to be and more. We particularly enjoyed the view of the lake and wildlife. On our last night there, we even saw a couple of moose in the lake. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is it! Our family will definitely keep this house in mind again when we travel back to Grand Lake.
My husband and I visited for several nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The environment was beautiful, serene, and relaxing. The bed was comfortable and there were all of the amenities we needed. We most enjoyed the large deck, watching the wildlife, kayaking, and relaxing in the hammock. On our last day we even saw a moose out in the lake! We spent our days hiking in the park, cooking dinner at the house, and relaxing outside in the afternoons/evenings. Perfect vacation. Would love to return.
We had such a great time staying in this cabin. It was just the right size, great kitchen and close to Granby and Grand Lake. The deck was a great place to hang out.
Great place to getaway, relax, and enjoy what nature has to offer for views and wildlife from the deck. Owners are easy to contact and fast to respond to questions.

Wonderful waterfront property, very tastefully and comfortably furnished, with extraordinary views across Shadow Mountain Lake. The canoes and kyacks that come with the stay are a great amenity.
