Stacey and Sandrine were amazing hosts. Their hospitality really provided a welcoming environment. Their property is gorgeous too! It’s very secluded and peaceful up there. The cabin was very cozy and provided an excellent place to relax. Would definitely stay there again!
Awesome cabin. Beautiful, quiet, peaceful. Owners are great. Their dogs are friendly.Take an AWD with ground clearance.Take snacks and drinks, it's a little ways from town.
We really enjoyed staying out at Sandy and Stacey’s hidden gem. Such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely recommend to everyone, and will most definitely be back. Thank you again for your hospitality.
This was the nicest getaway ever! We arrived in the dark, very lost, but Stacy and Sandrine came to our rescue right away. They were so kind and welcoming! Not to mention the cutest doggos ever! Definitely will be going back! It’s a little slice of heaven that they have out there.
We stayed at this property in August and it was a perfect location to experience Montana. Cabin is off the beaten path and offers just the right amount of quiet and yet has everything you need. We could eat in or a short drive to Helena or Montana Citycouuld
The Chocolat Moose was just the place we were looking for. Far enough out of the way to feel secluded in the mountains, but with easy access to all the Helena area activities. The cabin was clean and cozy, and felt rustic without lacking any amenities. The space was very private, but there was help available for any needs or questions we had. Sandy and Stacie are wonderful guides to the area and very gracious hosts. Overall it was the perfect stay, would recommend and hope.i can visit again!
This was a great place for my mom who is 80, my sister and I both in our 50's to stay for an extended weekend while im Clancy for my daughters wedding at a near by wedding venue.
The beds, even the futon, were extremely comfortable.
The first morning of the stay i was able to enjoy morning coffee on the porch and see the local wildlife. The second morning I spent an hour or so hiking, mediating , and praying un the montain on the rocks. It was a giod respite from the hubbub of the wedding.
I woukd love to come back when i have the time to retreat and explore .
The cabin was lovely in all aspects, for me though, the iron in the water for showering etc, was a little offputting, so I left early and sought other accommodations.
Im not sure if this is something normal with accommodations of this nature, but for me, it made me uncomfortable as to what it may be doing for my health.

About the host

I'm a French girl who always wanted to live in Montana. I left France in 1998 to Los Angeles and after learning English moved to Montana in 2006. Found my dream place in 2007 and after 4 years of renovation could finally welcome and share my dream with my guests.
Why they chose this property
I love the seclusion, the contact with the nature. Seeing a bear, a wolf or a heard of elk is always a special moment in my life....
What makes this property unique
