Charming old farmhouse isolated in the countryside of Provence

Housed in the heart of a 6ha park (2 of which are landscaped), isolated in the middle of Provençal nature (natural area without construction or vis-à-vis), in a dominant position with a breathtaking view of the Luberon, the Alpilles and the plain, this 18th century hunting lodge is a former outbuilding of the castle of Saumane, historic property of the Marquis de Sade. Its unique location, backed by 2 large ‘bories’ (Provençal stone huts) fitted out and accessible from the inside of the house, also gives it an exceptional and authentic charm.
Absolute calm less than 15 minutes from all amenities, cultural and leisure activities: Isle sur la Sorgue, Sénanque Abbey, Gordes, etc... Starting point for many hikes.
Sleeps 7 or 11 people in 3 or 5 bedrooms: 2 or 4 with double beds, 1 with 3 single beds, and 2 or 3 bathrooms. Living room of 55m², new kitchen (redone 2023) and very well equipped, all the comfort in the choice of equipment and furniture. Old house with thick stone walls that allow the house to stay naturally cool in summer.
Outside, large circular swimming pool of 9m in diameter (1.90m at the deepest) secured by alarm with solarium beach of 150m² with shower, hammocks and many rest areas in the park, in the shade or in the sun. Plancha, dining area on the terrace under pergolas.
Rental includes cleaning, regular interventions by a swimming pool specialist and the full supply of household linen (beds are made on arrival).
House not suitable for young children. Pets are not allowed.
