It opens onto a large living room - beautiful traditional framework (very good height and volume) - small TV lounge (Netflix, TV call available to tenants)
. MEZZANINE: library and playroom for children (books and various games available to tenants)
. BEDROOM 1 (garden side): a 160/200 bed and its private bathroom (walk-in shower) and a marble washbasin - toilet - wardrobe
. BEDROOM 2 (garden side): a 180/200 bed – private toilet – private marble bathroom with double sinks – Moroccan marble bath and private outdoor shower with a view of the sky – large dressing room
. BEDROOM 3 (sea side and swimming pool): two beds of 90/200 (i.e. one 180/200) – private bathroom with freestanding bathtub and double porcelain sink – toilet - wardrobe
. BEDROOM 4 (sea side and swimming pool): two beds of 90/200 (i.e. a 180/200) – private bathroom with a very walk-in shower with a view of the islets and the sea, toilet and double stone sink – wardrobes
- BUNGALOW OF 50 M2:
Composed of a large bedroom with a double sofa bed (140/200) and a bunk bed – large bathroom with double sink – very large walk-in shower and toilet
The bungalow has an independent terrace overlooking the garden and a small zoo that will excite the children.
- KITCHEN of 60 M2:
adjoining the swimming pool: spacious and fully equipped (large oven – steam oven – plate warmer – microwave – salamander – 2 refrigerators and 1 freezer – dishwasher...)
- Independent LAUNDRY room behind the house (washing machine, dryer...)

The SWIMMING POOL (12/6 M composed of a small and a large pool) is located in the center of two terraces and a large sunbathing area with the view of the islets of François and the Atlantic Ocean.
The villa has a large garden with an additional stone terrace nestled under the rare Talipot (the coolness and the trade winds are there / amazing contrast with the heat around the pool) and a cabin in the Flamboyant for children. It is a great place to rest

attractive villa with lovely decor and beautiful garden

The house was about 50 years old and beautifully designed but a bit shabby and dusty - it could use a simple coat of paint and a thorough dusting of the louvres etc. Gorgeous garden and lovely pool. A fabulous kitchen though we had to replace the pedal bin. We were surprised there was no booklet or guide to the house, describing the garbage disposal regime, how to use the appliances and tv, such as we have had in all our other VRBO properties. The real negative was that the good supermarket was 50 minutes away, so we had to spend a lot of time in the car driving to and from Genipa on narrow, winding roads. There was no beach we could walk to, but we did not mind too much as we enjoyed the pool a lot. I adored the Pleyel upright piano and was able to practice for many hours, much to my delight.

Villa Althea is lovely

Well furnished, landscaped and well supplied property in a breathtaking setting overlooking the sea! Accommodations are comfortable and all sorts of pool and swimming gear available. What we needed: instructions for use of appliances as none provided. Problems with the stay: no internet service until the 4th day of our stay. Rooms that went dark and could not be relit. Door handle that locked one guest in the bathroom until rescued. Dryer that didn’t dry. Repairs on “island time”. The 4 turtles were our garbage disposal and we became quite fond of feeding them, a unique twist I haven’t come across previously. It is a charming property but we are used to more prompt attention when problems arise. 3 “screenagers” without internet access is a crisis and we spent to get cellular access each day until the repair half into our stay. Door knobs falling off and other minor aggravations dropped my rating to 4 stars.

Vacances retourvailles en famille ! La maison est absolument idéale, chambres confortables, pièces spacieuses et joliele ts décorées. La maison a une âme, on sent qu'une famille y vient régulièrement. Parfaitement équipée. La cuisine donnant sur l'extérieur, très spacieuse et fonctionnelle. La piscine est les espaces extérieurs sont géniaux. Le jardin en contre bas est un jardin botanique à lui seul ... Et...la bouteille de Rhum à l'arrivée a été plus qu'appréciée. Merci pour tout, la famille entière recommande !
