The Harvest House Cottage - Mountain Vineyard Getaway

This is not your typical mountain cabin. It is beautifully situated in the GA/NC mountains amidst rolling hills of vineyards and beautiful views. This 850 square feet cottage has hardwood flooring throughout and sleeps six guests comfortably. This cabin boasts two king-sized bedrooms and a sleeper sofa, and a pair of bathrooms (one shower and one bathtub/shower).

Welcome to the Vineyard located in the Blue Ridge Mountains on the Highlands Plateau! Conveniently located between Dillard, GA and Highlands, NC. From the moment you arrive at our front gates you will feel at home. Whether you are coming for a wine tasting, special event or an extended stay we will do everything in our power to make sure that your visit is memorable. The vineyard is nestled on nearly 30 acres of lush, rolling hills and boasts a working vineyard, award winning dahlia garden, tennis courts, pond and waterfalls, event pavilion and walking trails throughout.

In addition, there is a community area for our on-property guests to enjoy. It is a great place to hang out and enjoy the vineyard. It is equipped with a fire pit, bocce ball court, cornhole game, charcoal grills, and The Market; which has gifts, swag, provisions and more for purchase.

The area is known for its pristine landscapes, lovely people, and activities for all ages! There is ziplining, hiking, waterfalls, horseback riding, rafting, boating, fishing, golf, tubing – all within 30 minutes of the vineyard.

In addition to all the things to do outside, there is also some of the best restaurants, shopping, antiquing, and spas, are just a stone's throw away.This is not your typical mountain cabin. So cute!

The cabin was perfect for our family's quick trip to NC. We brought our dogs as well and they had the best time looking out the big porch window while we were out enjoying activities. I loved everything about how cute this cabin was!

Wonderful, cozy cottage

This cottage was perfect for a two night trip to Highlands, NC. It was just as cute as the pictures show. Very clean and has a new and charming feel to it. It is 10 miles from downtown Highlands. The vineyard and property are beautiful. Definitely walk the property if you stay. We would like to return in the fall.

The cottage was so clean and inviting. Bed was super comfortable. The vineyard grounds were peaceful and perfect for a walk. The fire pit, community area is as lovely. We would stay here again and again!

Perfect getaway!

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. Beds were very comfy, kitchen was stocked with coffee, cottage was very clean, etc. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. Had a great time and we are thankful to have found this spot! :)

Beautiful place, very clean house and love the decoration. It says accommodation for 6 but kitchen utensils only for 4, we were able to handle, they don’t have stove but we did not have any issue making breakfast or small dinner. I will definitely come back to this place to enjoy wine tasting that unfortunately missed. Management very responsive!

Beautiful place

This rental was beautiful and luxurious with attention paid to every detail. The vineyard itself is beautiful and a great place to walk and take in the serenity. Great location to use as a base for hiking in the Highlands area. Only downside was poor internet connectivity, but this was probably a gift in the long run. Also, we took our dog and it was a very dog friendly stay. Highly recommend.

Scaly mountain NC stay

Quiet, clean and comfy. About 25 minute drive from highlands and 15 to Dillard. Beautiful winery in a gated area. Cottages are very nice as are the care takers of the property.

Lovely Weekend Getaway

Bring your water bottle! The well water is so good! The home was comfy and well appointed for a weekend getaway. Located between Dillard and Highlands for some great food options, but we stayed in a lot of the time and enjoyed walking the property( lots of space to explore) and taking in the vineyards with our dogs. Beds were super clean and perfect for staying in a little longer in the mornings. Property manager was great and very accessible. We will be back!

Beautiful cabins!

We loved our stay - the cabins are decorated beautifully and have extremely comfortable beds. The only downside was that there is no stove/oven so it was a bit difficult for meals, but luckily the location is about 15 minutes from 2 areas with many options. Would highly recommend this property for a fun mountain stay!

We enjoyed our stay. Easy communication & check-in process. The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed except a stove/oven. That was a bit of a disappointment as we brought food to cook. (There was a cute little restaurant a half a mile away where we got food so it all worked out) I would describe it as a kitchenette vs a kitchen on the listing. But other than that no complaints. Plenty of coffee, good sized fridge with ice maker, and grill. Beds were very comfortable. The property is also beautiful, it was a great weekend escape with Highlands only being a 15 min drive up the beautiful mountain.

Lovely Vineyard Location

The cottages were just what our group needed as a homebase for our exploration of the area. After a hike or other adventure, it was great to sit on our porch overlooking the Vineyard and enjoy a glass of wine. Perfect stay.
