Originally from California we are Floridians who also love the mountains! We have 6 adult children and the Aframe renovation project was so big, it has become our 7th!

We are excited to share our family’s home with you when we aren’t there enjoying it ourselves! We make the trek up as often as we can!

Why they chose this property

The Aframe shape was what drew us to The Haven first, along with it being so close to Highlands, NC, our favorite little Hallmark town!! 🏘️
We love this little mountain community, seasonal changes, and even the paved road! 🏔️
One of our favorite things that brings our blood pressure straight down, though, is the ringing of the church bells we can hear drifting up from down in Sky Valley. There’s nothing like hearing those while sipping coffee in a rocking chair or while around a cozy campfire. 🔥

What makes this property unique

We love that our 1970’s Aframe is ALL new, yet we were able to merge modernity with retro and cabin details from the antique brass touches to the board and batten and antler chandelier.
