Frippin Unreel - Marsh Front + TWO GOLF CARTS + Beach/fishing/crabbing gear

Frippin Unreel is a marsh front 3 bedroom, 2 bath home (with 4th small bunk room that has a twin bunk bed) located on Fripp Island, South Carolina. The house went through extensive renovations this past year. It is set back in a quiet neighborhood that has its own pool and crab dock. The house is less than a 5 minute golf cart ride to the beach!

Rental includes a 4 seat golf cart, a 6 seater golf cart, fishing and crabbing gear, beach/pool gear, and a state park pass. The house has fast internet with smart TVs in den and three bedrooms. There are books and games for guests to use under the TV in the den.

Frippin Unreel is in a small community on Fripp Island that has its own community pool (no amenity card needed). The pool is open first of May - first of October (exact dates depending on weather) and is just down the street.

The house is just steps from the community’s private crabbing dock with amazing views of the marsh. Only those in our community can use that crab dock, plus there are several others around the island for your use (we have a welcome book with places on the island mapped out).

Wildlife is abundant all around the island. You will see many deer, alligators, racoons, and beautiful birds. Fripp has walking and biking trails all over the island. The island has several playgrounds in addition to the private playground in our community.

A state park pass is included with the rental. The state park pass will get everyone from one car into Hunting Island State Park for free. Hunting Island State Park is right before you get on Fripp and provides so much to explore.

Bedroom configuration-

Master bedroom is downstairs. The master has a king-sized bed with ensuite bathroom and sliding glass door leading out to screened in deck. Room has a smart TV.

2nd bedroom is upstairs and has queen bed with beautiful marsh view with smart TV.

3rd bedroom is also upstairs and has a queen bed. It has a smart TV.

There is a 4th small room with a bunkbed that connects to the 2 upstairs bedrooms.

There is a bathroom upstairs.

There is an outdoor shower around back - great for rinsing off after the beach! There is also a hose in the front to rinse off feet and beach gear.

Washer and Dryer is in the kitchen utility room.

Kitchen is fully equipped. The coffee maker can do drip coffee or use pods. There is also a gas grill in the garage that you can use in the driveway. You can exchange propane tanks at the Marina store if it runs out or bring your own from home.

The back deck, with beautiful marsh views, is completely screened in with two ceiling fans and ready for you to enjoy that morning coffee or late night bottle of wine.

No smoking in house, in the garage, or on porches

No fireworks or sparklers

No Pets

Other things to note-

While you will have private access to our community pool, playground, and crabbing dock, we DO NOT have AMENITY CARDS. We CANNOT obtain them for any guest.

Guests can still shop at SpringTide Marketplace for light food, beer, ice, and other necessities. Guests can also access the Marina Store for essentials including bait. The Marina and SpringTide market also both have a Deli.

The guest who books the reservation must be 25 years or older and must be present at the property for the length of the stay!

Rental agreement will be sent after booking, and must be signed and returned within 3 days.

Frippin Unreal was the absolute BEST! There was nothing but comfort, excellent views of the marsh and great customer service. I highly recommend you rent this home. It is top notch. Even with all the rain we had it was great to lay in bed and watch the tides come in over the Marsh. House was impeccable. Don't hesitate to book your stay today!

Perfect location and property!

We've stayed at Fripp several times, and this was by far our favorite property. Perfectly stocked, exceptionally clean and so very comfortable! We loved everything about it.

You won't want to leave!

Our family had a wonderful time! The house was very clean and felt like new, which made it easy to settle in and relax. We especially loved the golf cart! The owner was great at communicating and provided everything we needed—beach towels, chairs, sand toys, kitchen and cooking supplies, and more. Fripp Island is beautiful, and we saw plenty of wildlife during our stay

Frippin’ Unreel was just perfect and met all our family’s needs. The view from the back deck was beautiful especially morning and evening. We enjoyed the bikes, fishing gear, golf carts and community pool. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook a big meal! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful! Amazing house, would stay forever if I could!

Beautiful house and incredibly clean! It felt just like home. They provide everything you could need, including thoughtful extras in case you forget something. The owner is extremely helpful and makes sure you have all the necessary information promptly. We absolutely loved our stay—the view is spectacular, and the golf carts are a fantastic bonus. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place!

Great Vacation

Our stay was excellent. There was not a single thing else we needed except for little more sunshine. House is excellent and beautiful views. We rarely left the island as the kids loved riding around the island in golf carts looking at wildlife and exploring the many different parts of island. We Will no doubt return and highly recommend!

Wondergul place!

Frippin Unreel is one of the most well stocked homes we have ever rented for vacation. We were there for the Thanksgiving holiday 2023. The location is very central on the island, and the views of the marsh from the back of the house are gorgeous. The beds are extremely comfortable. Everything is up to date. The golf carts are really nice! Both of them. If we had been there for a summer stay, we wouldn't have had to bring anything extra. It's all there! The owners were communicative and helpful. The living space is small, but that is the only thing I could even think of to say about this house that could be a disadvantage. We would definitely rent this home again

Perfect Place

We had a wonderful stay at Frippin Unreel. The location is quiet and beautiful, with the marsh view. The house really couldn’t be better. It is so clean and bright with pretty but comfortable furniture - especially beds. All household items and appliances are clean and working and the kitchen has nice spices and pots/pans and knives. There is a great binder with recommendations, and Deidre was so kind to offer additional information on the area when asked. The golf carts are in great condition - and make it so easy and fun to check out all of the special spots on beautiful Fripp. Thank you Deidre!

Awesome house

This is our 20th year coming to Fripp and this is one of the best homes we have rented. It was very well stocked, clean and up to date. It has 2 nice golf carts, bicycles, fishing gear etc. The owners are very attentive and accessible. We would definitely rent again.

A relaxing family getaway

We had a great time at this house. The kids loved the bunk room, the living room furniture was super comfy, and the porch was delightful. We saw deer out the back every day and even watched a rainstorm from the comfort of the porch. Deidre was amazing! She checked in the first day to make sure everything was ok and was quick to help when we lost the community pool pass. We took many golf cart rides around the island and borrowed the boogie boards in the garage to play in the waves. My kids appreciated the toys and books that were available for them at the house. I appreciated the welcome binder with lots of insider tips about the island and things to do. Overall, it was a phenomenal trip!

The house is great and my family had a blessed time. We have been coming to Fripp for about 10 years and this is the best house we have stayed in. Not the biggest house but by far the best equipped and perfectly sized house for my family of 6. Would book this property again, no doubts!!

Beautiful House and Great Stay!

I've been coming to Fripp for 30 years now and this was my favorite house we've ever stayed in! It was beautiful and well cleaned when we showed up. The owner (Deidre) was extremely responsive and helpful. My two young kids were so excited to see toys left in the bunk room and my in-laws couldn't get enough time on the screened in porch. It's in a great location we like with the community pool and that it's a quick golf cart ride to the beach. The house came well stocked with everything we would need for a week away. Overall we loved this house and hope to go back! Thanks for the great stay!

Beautiful Home

Thank you for sharing your home with us! It is very beautiful and in a great location, not close to beach but in a quiet part of Fripp and there are 2 golf carts provided so very easy to get to the beach and to cruise around Fripp Island. This house is very clean and had everything we could need for our stay. Owners are very responsive as well and checked on us to make sure the house was what we expected. We have been to Fripp several times and Highly recommend this home and will be coming back when it is available! Bonus you get to see deer out your back deck every day. Thanks again

Almost “Unreel”!

“Frippin Unreel” was almost “unreel,” it was so above expectations! First and foremost, the owners’ high level of detailed communication put me at ease. They were amazing at pre-stay, during our stay, and post-stay communication. Although we had no rental issues, I felt assured that I’d we did, they would handle it immediately, no matter the time of day. My family has been renting homes at Fripp (at least 2-4x year) since 1996. It is truly our home away from home and, unfortunately, not all rentals feel that way. This was not the case with this home. The photos quite honestly did not do the home justice! The marsh view was superb, the home was well stocked, right down to a first aid kit. It was amazingly clean. Also, their golf carts were a real plus - fast, quiet, and a smoothe ride! The neighborhood is quiet and quite peaceful and we found the private crab dock and walkway perfect for telling our kids some spooky stories at dusk, as well as crabbing! If I could rate this property a 10/5 I’d do it in a heartbeat!
