Welcome to Beach Blessing, your home away from home! Are you looking to relax, spend some much-needed quality time with the family, or changing your scenery for virtual learning and working from home? Then you've come to the right place!

Beach Blessing is a cozy 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with beach views from every south-facing angle and only 400 meters (walk) from the beach (no need to cross the San Luis Pass). We're located in Galveston, Texas in Palm Beach. Palm Beach is a small, quiet neighborhood, with various beach access points. It's really a treat!

Beach Blessing offers a spacious deck off the main entrance as well as a private deck off the home's primary bedroom. Both decks are perfect places to lounge, tan, enjoy the view with a cup of coffee in the morning, or take in the breeze with a glass of wine in the evening. Speaking of coffee, you'll definitely enjoy the coffee bar located in the hallway; it's filled with an array of coffees, teas, and books for your enjoyment.

The home sleeps 8 people (though there is an additional charge for groups over 6 people) with a queen bed in the primary bedroom (with new luxury walk in shower), twin over twin bunk bed and full bed in the second bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

In the kitchen/dining area you will find a counter-height dining table, which doubles as an island for good cooking, a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and toaster. All necessary pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and select spices are provided. Just bring food and a big appetite.

The living room features a large sofa, perfect for deep-couch-sitting, and a coffee table which holds the linens for the queen sleeper and extra blankets. You can also enjoy movies via streaming services and games which can be found in the tv stand. Don't forget to catch a glimpse of the view out the windows--it gets us every time.

Finally, we have a stacked washer/dryer for your convenience to wash clothes, swimsuits, or beach towels (which we provide).

Did we mention that we're just a quick walk to the beach? That's right--in less than 5 minutes your toes will be in the sand and a frisbee or volleyball can be whizzing through the air. After a fun day at the beach, come back to Beach Blessing and enjoy some time on the patio. The downstairs is wide-open and has a picnic table where you can lounge, eat, or play games. There's no limit to the activities you can enjoy.

Additionally, our home is a short distance from Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, fishing, miniature golf, and the movies. The possibilities are endless at Beach Blessing.

Forgot something? No worries. There's a Dollar General less than a mile away that has all of the essentials and more.

A Seaside Cottage with all the coastal vibes!

Clean. Cute. Comfortable. and, an excellent location for those birders who are trying to hit all the hotspots in only 4 days! The hostess has thought of all the things that make a rental home a ‘home away from home’. Almost anything you forgot can be gotten at the well stocked Market just a few miles west of this neighborhood.

An absolute perfect beach getaway for our family. Beach Blessing was ready for us to arrive and we felt blessed to be in such a cozy and lovely home! Amazing!

I booked a mother's day weekend getaway and loved every moment. The house is far enough from all the busy on the island but close enough to get everything needed. The home itself was cozy and beautiful for my family and I. The walk to the beach is no more than 5 minutes and the view from the porch is mesmerizing. I had to contact the owner for something and she replied within minutes. The stay was perfect and we plan to be back in the future!

Fantastic weekend at the beach!

We had an amazing weekend at this beach house. The house was great, clean, beautiful, with 2 bedrooms each with their own bathroom. One is often disappointed with the difference between how things look in the pictures versus the real thing but this was NOT the case here. In fact, the house was much better in person than in the pictures. The location to the beach can hardly be beat! Absolutely great weekend, we loved every minute of it, coffee on the porch, the sunrise, the waterhose to wash off the sand. Loved it so much I was already planning the next visit. Possibly after hurricane season ends as both Marco and Laura got as worried. The beach was lovely and the water so warm. We plan to be back.

Perfect Location, Size, and Amenities

So many great things to say about the entire experience from booking to leaving. Booking process was simple and received a message right away. As it got closer, received additional detail. House was easy to find and instructions to get in were easy as well. The house itself was perfect for our family. Kids loved the bunk beds. We loved having a separate room. And two bathrooms were essential when coming in from the beach. Speaking of, the chairs, toys, and wagon were perfect for getting to the beach, which was a very easy walk away. The outdoor shower was great for a quick rinse. The kids were amazed by the outdoor shower. :) We didn’t spend much time in the house, but it was comfortable and had everything we needed with a dishwasher, dishes, laundry, etc. No issues at all. My wife wanted to take home some of the decor as well. Haha The highlight for us, also a lowlight, our son got stung by a jelly fish the last day. While walking back, a neighbor stopped and asked if he was stung, they could hear him from their house! They brought over some ointments and told us what to do since this never happened to us. The neighborhood is amazing and all very nice neighbors that wave and say hello. This absolutely made the trip for us, as if it wasn’t already perfect. Our entire family had an amazing time and all interactions with Julia were pleasant. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will be back. And would recommend to all friends and family!!!

This was the most perfect little 2 Br/2ba house! It was clean and renovated and had everything we needed from towels to dishes. 4th of July on the Beach 2021

Thank you for an amazing 4th of July weekend for my family! We brought our two grandchildren to the beach and couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable time! The house was clean and had everything needed to feel like a home away from home. The beach was a short, easy walk around the block and Julia made sure to include a wagon for carrying sand toys, kites and all items for a playful and fun day. On our last night, we had an amazing view of the fireworks show from our rocking chairs on the front porch! Thank you again…it truly is a Beach Blessing!
