Fully renovated in 2011, it features a spacious wraparound deck ideal for relaxing with ocean breezes and sunset views. In addition to the two bedrooms, there’s an extra sleeping area with a twin bed and trundle—perfect for kids or additional guests.

Located in Palm Beach, you’re just one mile from Galveston Island State Park and a short seven-mile drive to Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, and convenient shopping at Walmart.

This place was great! Three bedrooms and two bathrooms was perfect for our party of four! The back bedroom is open at the end of the hallway with a door leading out to the patio. Soaps and shampoo was provided if needed. Dish soap, dish detergent, plenty of sponges. The kitchen had everything we needed! The deck views are perfect. There is a shower downstairs to wash off from the beach. We grilled every night we were there. This place was 10 out of 10 and I hope we get to go back!

Easy access to beach. Nice ocean view from the deck. Needs maintenance and repairs: front door lock difficult to open, repair shower door(has a brick to hold shower door closed), bathroom sinks drain slowly, air filters need changing, missing smoke alarm, to name a few.

Perfect location

This property has a perfect location. Just a 20 second walk to the beach, just far enough away from the crowded tourist areas of Galveston, so you can relax. The house is very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very nice and easy to communicate with. Would 100% stay again.

Kinda new remodeling house, everything look new and clean- location front at beach within few steps- And the best plus is a big and long patio which can view the the ocean from different ways.Very comfortable to stay with family with good size 5 to 6 people.Will come back here next time when have chances.

Wonderful place. The beach is literally right there. Check in was fantastic. House was well equipped and the deck…holy cow the deck was amazing. Well equipped with lots of seating made this the favorite spot in the morning and afternoon. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms good. Would definitely come back. This is one of the hidden gems of the island! Steps from the beach, the views were even better than the listing shows, and the house was a very good layout. The owners were fabulous on communication. We will be back!!

Just perfect

This is our second time to stay at this property and we love it. The house isn't huge, but it's got fantastic views and is only 1 house away from the beach. The porch is gigantic and everything is well-maintained. We hope to be back again!

We bought this house shortly after Hurricane IKE in 2009. The construction project to renovate this house was long and costly but we absolutely fell in love with our new beach house and would do it again. The neighborhood is quiet and a perfect place to get away from it all.

Why they chose this property

Why did we buy this house? Our initial intention was to help rebuild Galveston after the devastation of Hurricane IKE. The spontaneous decision transformed into a lot of hard work of clean ups, restorations, and rebuildings.

What makes this property unique

This is no doubt a perfect house to get away from it all. Surrounded by the ocean waves and sea breeze. A quiet neighborhood where neighbors take time to wave hello at crossing on the beach or passing by as you are sitting on the deck.
