Chain O' Lakes Pleasant Heaven - Sleeps 10

Welcome to our 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath Chain O' Lakes vacation rental. We want you to feel as relaxed as we do staying at our waterfront home. With enough beds to sleep 10 people, this is a great location for family vacations, retreats, or reunions (there is room for additional air mattresses). The open concept kitchen and living room connects to a beautiful covered deck. Enjoy the views from the deck, take out the two kayaks for a relaxing paddle, or enjoy a starry night roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and cookware (see below for listing of kitchen amenities).

Pontoon boat (2005 Bennington) rental is available for additional fees and rental agreement. Please contact owner for more information.

Location:
-Lime Kiln Lake: No need to worry about the children swimming as this is a no wake lake. --The back yard leading up to the lake has plenty of flat space for yard games (bags, washers, and bocce ball provided).
-Short boat ride to Columbia and Round Lake (both wake lakes for water sports).
-Half mile walk to Casino, Wheelhouse, or Scoopers.
-Great location for morning walks on low traffic roads.

Please note that during the peak season rentals are weekly, or 7 nights. We will not be able to do long weekends. The rental is from Friday to Friday with check-in at 3 pm and check-out at 10 am. The pricing is detailed out in the rates sections. Please read it to get more information.

Bath and swim towels are NOT provided, please bring your own. Hand towels and kitchen towels will be provided. Board games and ping pong are provided for rainy afternoons. Roku will provide you with many options on the 65 inch television.

Kitchen amenities: Gas grill, griddle, oven, stove top, dishwasher, crock pot, blender, hot & cold brew (coffee) system, 12 piece ceramic dish set, 12 piece plastic dish set, pot and pans, baking sheets, utensils, silverware, assorted plastic cups and glassware, grilling utensils, and much more.

We allow are current renters the opportunity to return the following year. They must communicate interest and/or book within 7 days of stay.

Great lake house, wonderful amenities, including the rental of the owner’s pontoon boat, which was absolutely delightful to use on the chain o lakes! Definitely would’ve preferred a hard Sandy bottom for the areas entering the water by the pier for swimming or just relaxing on a raft! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the lake. The water is so clear/clean it reminds you of the Caribbean.

Pleasant Haven is a beautiful home on Limekiln Lake. It is located on the less traveled side of the lake which makes it perfect for my grandchildren to use the kayaks and paddle boards (provided with this rental) without having to worry about boat traffic. The large porch overlooking the lake is a wonderful vantage point to watch the children or enjoy the sunset. The amenities provided are amazing. This is our families favorite place to enjoy time together while celebrating the end of summer.

As always, we really enjoyed our stay. Nate and Katie are easy to get ahold of if we need help or anything goes wrong which is very rare. The house is clean and welcoming and this stay is something we look forward to every year. Our kids as they get older are starting to make comments about how fun it is and how much they remember coming up each year, which is really what it is all about.

Perfect Setting

Our group has been getting together every summer for over 3 decades. This past year we were looking for a different gathering spot when we found this property. The Chain of Lakes in Waupaca has so much to offer and we loved our stay here! The property is well taken care of, in a very quiet neighborhood and on a great no wake lake. Swimming and boating were our kids favorites and the adults enjoyed their time together. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect retreat.

Perfect in every way!

This is our 2nd time staying here because we love it so much. The home is beautiful and furnished with everything a family could ask for. The location is on a lakeshore side with little boat traffic and is close to restaurants. The few steps leading down to the flat lake area are wide and not steep. The owners are great to work with and have provided many opportunities to enjoy the water, or just relax and enjoy the view from the full deck facing the lake. They have a very nice dock with chairs on a large L end and steps from the water. This has been our family's favorite lake rental.

We had a wonderful time! We were 6 adults & 4 kids! The Pontoon was a definite must! The kids had so much fun on our rides. The chain of Lakes are just beautiful! The house was everything & more! Awesome Stay

We stayed at the property last Memorial Day and stayed this year for the 4th of July holiday. Rented the pontoon this year and got to enjoy the lakes and beautiful weather. Owners communicated well during our stay. Enjoyed our stay as much as last year. Only issue was the internet was constantly in and out. Owners did get a new modem delivered from spectrum but unfortunately still same issues. Kind of a bummer when you have a day with rain and all the tv is streaming via internet.

Owning a lake house has been our dream since we started dating in 2004. In spring 2020, our dream came true. Our family is excited to share our lake house with you. We have two girls and a family dog. Lakes and boating have been a part of our lives for many years. Nate and I bought our first boat together when we were dating. Since then we have enjoyed sharing the boating life as a family on Madison Lakes, Rock Lake (Lake Mills), and the Moen Chain in Rhinelander.

Why they chose this property

We looked at over 18 houses before falling in love with this lake house. The Chain O' Lakes in Waupaca is like no other chain or lake in WI. The lakes are stunning. We also enjoy the people and restaurants that are accessible while enjoying the many lakes. This property is special because of the views, layout, updated finishes, and no wake lake. We love that our two girls can play in the water and on the kayaks without worry of boats speeding by.
