The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with. Location is close to a large variety of restaurants. We would definitely rent here again.
Two visiting family members came for a short stay after Christmas. We were all very impressed with Loft 116! It's beautiful, airy, warm, welcoming, spacious, quiet, clean, comfortable. The location is fantastic, right in the midst of everything that's happening in downtown New Albany, and a quick hop to Louisville. The thoughtful extras -- coffee, snacks, games, washer/dryer -- were appreciated. We found a gem!!!
Very nice place, loved the location, right across the bridge from Louisville. Many wonderful places to eat all
within walking distance. We highly recommend this place.
Awesome location in the New Albany Historic District. All of the 5 star reviews are well deserved. The loft was very clean, had modern amenities and lots of great shopping and dining in walking distance. Would absolutely recommend and would stay there again when visiting the Louisville area.
This loft is a hidden gem. It has so much character and charm. We loved the exposed brick and historical vibe. Will stay here again, neighborhood has so many food and coffee options.
What a gorgeous space, nestled above adorable downtown new Albany. The apartment has cool vibe, decorated in deep hues of blues, grays and black/modern brass. Not only a sexy vibe but also very comfortable and welcoming! Bedrooms and bathrooms sleekly designed but comfortable and convenient with hair products in the shower and plenty of extra towels. We will definitely stay there again when visiting family in the area.
Great location to do bourbon tour. Only recommendation would be work something out to have a dedicated parking spot. Parking is tight and usually full with the restaraunt/bar downstairs. Other than that, outstanding.
Great location in a cute, revitalized New Albany. Definitely suggest eating at The Exchange under the Loft. Loft was well equipped, comfy, beautiful kitchen/bathroom, comfy beds. Would definitely rent again!
The loft was as description & shown in the pics. We would stay there again. It is very conveniently located to restaurants & other shopping in New Albany as well as Louisville.
Even prettier in person than in the photos! All of the spaces were well-appointed, cozy, and clean. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortably-sized... and comfortable! The hosts left a thoughtful binder of helpful info. I would stay here again without hesitation.
We saw the listing and the property was nicer and larger than imagined. We were totally surprised by the things to do around the loft. We spent our last couple of days walking to great restaurants , pubs, and wine bars in the immediate area. The food, shops, bars, and above all the loft made this a return destination. Thank you!
I can’t say enough positive things about this VRBO. It was the perfect homebase for our visits to downtown Louisville (a 10 minute drive), distilleries around Louisville, and a music festival near the Louisville Expo (15 minute drive). This space is roomy (perfect for 2 couples), has a modern, contemporary design with built-in charm, including a stunning exposed brick walls. It’s an “instagrammable” spot but as functional as it is stylish. It’s walking distance to New Albany’s Main Street which is full of coffeeshops, tasty restaurants and breakfast spots, neighborhood bars, cute shops and a summer farmer’s market. Appreciated that chilled bottles of water and a basket of snacks that greeted us. Had no problem finding a place to park behind the building. Would definitely stay here again.
Had a great girl’s weekend with my adult daughters. The loft is well stocked, beautiful, and as advertised. Location is great. River trail to walk in the morning is close. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the loft in New Albany! The place was lovely and very clean. We enjoyed eating at The Exchange downstairs and the Floyd County Brewing Co. just across the street. We visited several wineries in the area, walked to the farmers market and the Culbertson Mansion, and shopped at a few cute boutiques. The only small suggestion I have is adding black out blinds or something of the sort to the front living room windows as there is a bright security light right outside the window, making it tough for those on the pullout couch to get restful sleep. Everything else exceeded our expectations.
The Loft was absolutely beautiful, clean and huge! We enjoyed our stay so much! The decor was perfect, bed comfortable, stocked with all the basics, location great. We were just a 15-20 min drive to Mt Sr Francis and Louisville. The Exchange restaurant downstairs was our favorite. The food, drinks and desserts were amazing! There was an adorable coffee shop a few blocks away that was easy to walk to in the mornings. The river was also a short walk with beautiful views of the bridge. Nikki was quick to respond to the few questions we had. If you are in the Louisville area, do not miss out on this gem of a place!
We loved our stay. The property is very well furnished and the location was great for getting into Louisville or enjoying the local places in New Albany. We enjoyed dinners downstairs at the Exchange as well as a short walk to Brooklyn and the Butcher. After dinner drinks at the Apothecary we’re great. Thanks for opening up your place to us.
Great place to stay when in Louisville! Loft is above ground the Exchange restaurant which has great food and drink. The loft was very comfortable for my family.
I desperately wanted to give this place a 5 star review, but I can’t unfortunately. The property overall is excellent, I walked in and my first thought was “I could live here”. The one thing that is not mentioned in the listing is that the fire alarm system is shared with the restaurant downstairs. The fire alarm went off 5+ times (with no fire) during our 2 night stay, 3-4 of them in the middle of the night during our last night. Slept terribly because of it as we had no way to turn it off. I realize that is probably a safety precaution and/or a legal requirement being that it’s the same building, but it was not advertised and was also not resolved when I brought it up. When I contacted the host about it, they took all day to respond and ended up brushing it aside and doing nothing to mitigate the situation. I’ve been compensated more for a coffee maker not working, let alone losing a night’s sleep on a 2 night stay. Other than this the property is phenomenal, just make sure you are aware of this before booking!
