Originally the home of one of the oldest Spanish families in Santa Fe, the home was extensively renovated in 2017. This lovely home has ample space for everyone to enjoy an authentic Santa Fe experience. The 950 sqft home includes a large master bedroom with a king size bed and a built-in closet, one small bedroom with a double bed, and a pull-out queen sofa bed in the living room right by the fireplace for a total of 6 people capacity. There is plenty of desk space for office or creative work. Open concept living room and kitchen provide dining space for four around the dining table or three at the bar/kitchen island. The lounge space around the TV and fireplace is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with a range oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, electric toaster and a washer/dryer. The bathroom with beautiful Mexican tiles has a bathtub and shower.
The main courtyard is a true oasis with beautiful trees, flowering plants, birds, an outdoor grill and a dining and lounging area under the shading branches of a gorgeous queen of paradise tree. The solar lanterns hanging from the tree light up in the evening, transforming the courtyard into a magical space. The small bedroom also has a charming courtyard with a couple of chairs and a bistro table in the shade of a 60 year old magnificent elm tree and offers an alternate outdoor space or an escape from others in your party.
The TV with XFinity service provides an endless line up of HD channels. If that is not sufficient, the SmartTV can be used to access all the on-line entertainment content you are accustomed to in your own home. The casita is equipped with high-speed internet.
Access is through a separate gate into the courtyard. Surrounding adobe walls provide safety and privacy. There is one designated parking space on the driveway.
Neighborhood: The Rosario Hill neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Santa Fe. Many Spanish families owned large parcels here through grants by the Spanish King. A diverse residential area, the neighborhood incorporates much older family homes next to renovated beauties such as the historic Downtown Mansion this casita belongs to. Across from Arroyo Mascras, the feeling is one of living right by a river with tall and gorgeous elm and queen of paradise trees inhabiting the arrayo.
Getting Around: A leisurely short walk will get you to the Downtown buses. The Railrunner Train Station that provides transportation to Albuquerque Sunport Airport is three minutes by car or an 18 minute of walk. Uber and Lyft are also very accessible in Downtown. There are two routes to walk to the Plaza. The shorter route is through Griffin Street to the right of the house when you get out the door. The more scenic route is through the Grant Avenue and it takes about 10 minutes as it leads you by the historic Federal Courthouse and Scottish Rite Temple, the US Postal Service Headquarters, Santa Fe Convention Center and Georgia O'Keeffe Museum before the beautiful Plaza. Turn left from the house and just follow the arroyo. Grant Avenue is the first right up Rosario Boulevard.

Cozy accommodation close to grocery stores, restaurants and the plaza. It is clean and comfy with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Our hosts were kind, available & accomodating but not intrusive. I would definitely recommend staying here!
This property was amazing! We had a wonderful time visiting Santa Fe. It was an easy walk to shopping and dining. It was beautiful decorated and fully stocked. The gardens were lovely for eating and enjoying outside. I would definitely stay there again!
We had a great week-long stay at this casita, located within walking distance to the center of historic Santa Fe and all the sights and sounds of the old town. Day trips to Taos and several pueblos were an easy drive via quick access to highways north. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a highly recommended property to stay.
We loved our week at this beautiful casita. The descriptions are accurate though the outdoor space is even better than described. It’s a great location for everything, and an easy walk to the Plaza. It felt like home away from home, and the hosts were responsive, kind and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again!
And our host went above and beyond to accommodate some special requests we had to celebrate my husband’s birthday. A great and welcoming and cheerful host.
The apartment was immaculate and beautifully furnished. It’s close to all the main attractions. We met Sasi, one of our co-hosts, which was enjoyable. Would stay there again any time.
Very comfortable - every convenience is taken care of! This is a nice apartment and an easy walk to Santa Fe square. The outside courtyard is a lovely space to hang out and extends your living area. The property manager is a sweetie and was so helpful and professional. Very organized with checkin and checkout and super responsive. Great place to stay!!

You and your family more then welcome to stay with us in the future
We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property. Exactly as pictured and described, but even more special with all the little touches. A true home away from home. So cozy and comfortable and spotless. And the bed is really comfortable. It’s just a short walk into the heart of old town. We will be back for sure and we highly recommend this very special place.
Perfect again. Every detail about the Casita accurate. So close to all of downtown. Appointed with everything you will need for a wonderful trip.
Gracious and charming hosts that go the extra mile every time.
Always my go to while visiting Santa Fe
We really enjoyed our stay - the home is artfully and well presented, with all the amenities needed for the two of us and our dogs. We loved having the kiva fireplace on the cold nights, and the location was super convenient for walking into town, or to the great local bakery (Dolina). The owners were also very responsive to any questions we had or help needed. It was less than a 10min drive to a number of nice hiking trails which was great for the dogs. We’ll be back!
Charming and beautifully appointed and decorated, indeed! What a delightful, comfortable and private space. We loved having our meals outdoors. The fully stocked kitchen has everything! The walk to the plaza is a breeze. Great Wi-Fi and cable tv. This is, hands down, the nicest VRBO rental I’ve rented in Santa Fe.
Everything about this stay was comfy and easy, good communication from owners, great supplies at the house, beautiful patio. We were out and about for most of our stay and appreciated starting the morning on the patio, easy walk to plaza, and comfortable night's sleep. We would stay here again.
Wonderful customer care from Renee onsite, as well as the owners via text. Beautiful home, excellent location, absolutely gorgeous gardens. Cute wrap around patio. Great indoor/ outdoor feel. Very peaceful visit, stocked with everything you need in a simple clean manner.
My parents both over 80 and I stayed at this fabulous casita. The courtyard is like a second living room. We had all of our meals outside on the patio/ courtyard. It provided perfect respite to my parents while I participated in artist retreat. The hosts ensured we felt comfortable and had everything we needed including enabling us to extend our stay. Would definitely come back to the cute casita!
Charming, spacious, and private! Although we stayed a week, we barely got into our car except to get groceries and pick up artwork. Little things like great water pressure and quiet heat make the casita as comfortable as it is beautiful. Lovely secluded patio. We very much hope to be back.
Excellent little casita, so many great touches. Close to Ski Santa Fe was a + for us. Was a bit hard to find in the dark even with gps. Only critique is some of the cookware has seen better days really should be replaced.
This place is very comfortable and clean, clean, clean. Sasi really cares about the people who stay there. He is a bright light for travelers. He could not do enough to make us comfortable. The Casita is beautifully decorated with interesting art along with some vintage pieces. The beds were comfortable and bedding was clean. The casita is located about a mile to the Plaza. Plenty of restaurants snd shopping there! The patio is a lovely space with soft lighting in the trees. We loved the place and wished we had stayed longer. Would highly recommend!
Convenient presidents into in Santa Fe my friend and I stayed for a week in Santa Fe is this lovely vacation rental by owner. It had a great outdoor area that was private and a lovely place to eat meals that we cooked at home or just have morning coffee. The television was great to watch the morning news. There was an indoor table and a living area set up so that this could be conveniently done. It was also a great place at the table inside or outside to sit down and plan your day with a different books and maps regarding Santa Fe. The beds were terribly comfortableAnd we both slept well. The bathroom was small but very nice and how beautiful tile. Highly recommend it if you want to stay in a comfortable area in Santa Fe. And bonus there was offstreet parking!
