We had a great time and would definitely go back. The property is beautiful and perfect for those who like privacy and tranquility. We had two seniors and two children accompanying us (total of 6 people) and everyone was able to enjoy all aspects of the property. The cottage owner was very helpful in connecting us with local marinas and suggesting things to do while in the area. The home itself is equipped with everything needed to enjoy your holiday. Book here with confidence.

So happy you had such a great time here! Please let your children know that I have continued to feed "Finny" the chipmunk and that he will have lots of nuts to keep him fed during the winter!
Property delivered as advertised and made for a relaxing and simply wonderful family vacation. Karen is a wonderful host, and very easy to talk to, always ready to assist. Thank you,

Thank you for your kind words! I am glad you had a good vacation. I think you probably had the best weather all summer. Certainly the hottest!
It was a great week! The island location is just far enough to make it an adventure, without being an inconvenience. The cottage is just rustic enough to give that old Muskoka feel, but still very comfortable. Karen was an excellent host, always available by text or phone and very accommodating. But Lake Muskoka is a big lake, and probably you need at least a 20 ft boat to feel comfortable. We had sun and no wind, and exploring was so much fun. But we only had a 17 ft Lund with a 50 horse. So I would recommend that you make sure you aren't underpowered in case the weather turns. The bay was very busy on the weekend, with many kids on the neighbours new trampoline toy. During the week it and at night it was very quiet. The beds were great. We had friends come and visit for 2 nights and they were very comfortable in the bunkie. The cottage is well equipped. The dock is beautiful. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a true Muskoka adventure.
We had a great time, cottage was easy boating to Gravenhurst, Port Carling and Bala. The cottage felt like a cottage and brought back great memories of summer’s growing up at my family cottage. The teenagers loved the bunkie! Karen was excellent and extremely responsive. Her recommendation of the Gravenhurst Market on Wednesday was spot on. We had a great week and look forward to returning!

We loved Karen’s place. It had a lovely beach for the kids, but also deeper water off the dock. The Bunkie with a a bathroom and shower was a great bonus! The lake views are beautiful and has everything you need for a great family vacation!

We enjoyed our stay on this beautiful muskoka island. Karen is a great host and made the check-in process a breeze. The views are just stunning from the cottage, won’t ever forget the breathtaking sunsets we were fortunate enough to experience. The cottage is true to listing and has all the necessities and the boating was fun! Highly recommend!

So glad you enjoyed your week! It was a pleasure meeting you all and thank you for your kind remarks Tara.
The boat ride over from the marina was short and simple. Large dock, Muskoka chairs were great for enjoying the beautiful sunrise and sunset. Had a few naps in the nicely placed hammock and a couple of nice evening fires with smores on the lakefront view firebox. Bunkie worked great for older teens and comfortable clean beds all around made for a well-deserved overnight sleeps. Small sandy, shallow beach made for great kayak launch. Nice for small kids. Kitchen ready for anything you want to make or cook. Even the fish we caught not far from the cottage bay. Cozy, authentic cottage comforts was a real treat. Everything as expected plus!. Thanks for sharing Karen. Save us a spot for next year!

So happy you had such a great stay, and absolutely, will save a spot for you next year!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week on Browning Island! From swimming, water skiing and tubing, to just lazing on the large dock in the sun, watching the beautiful sunsets, or star gazing at night. The cottage is well kept and offers everything that a cottage should, with all the necessary creature comforts. Karen is an excellent host. She has a beautiful property in the heart of Muskoka that shows pride of ownership and she is genuinely interested in seeing that her guest have an enjoyable time. Communication was excellent from booking to departure, all questions were answered promptly and accurately. While the listing accurately describes the cottage and amenities, it doesn't do it justice. Our expectations were surpassed!
