We had such a wonderful stay at Roslyn's warm, family and dog-friendly home in Merimbula. You can tell this home holds many cherished memories as the perfect family holiday spot. Spacious enough to host our group of 3 families with 4 small children, with an excellent variety of games and entertainment on offer. The kitchen and seperate living/dining spaces are perfect for hosting and the large deck invites you to unwind with a good book and a cup of tea. We especially enjoyed the fireplace over a couple of rainy days. Roslyn was an excellent host and made everything easy. It is a short walk up a hill from town but easy enough to navigate. Perfect spot for a relaxed but fun getaway!

We had the most amazing time at this haven surrounded by bushland. Great location for a private getaway yet close to shops and beaches. The house is very large and comfortably accommodated 5 adults and 5 children. The fireplace is next level and the firepit a wonderful addition - the kids loved it! Thank you for a fabulous relaxing time away.

We had a fantastic stay, the house is large enough to fit 6 adults comfortably & has an inviting homely feel, nestled in amongst lush flora we were surrounded by birdsong & Kangaroos. We especially loved been able to gather around the open fire at night. Our 2 puppies Shi Wei & Mui Mui were very excited to be able to run round the deck freely & snuffle out the kangaroos & Echidna which had visited us during the night. We discovered fabulous restaurants, fashion shops, cafes & fish & chips all in close proximity ( about 15 mins walk) from the house so no need to travel outside the Merimbula area, if you did want to travel then beautiful Pambula is a short drive away. The beaches & lakes are pristine, our puppies had a fabulous time exploring & rolling on the sand. If you visit Merimbula in Spring then a trip on the boat out to watch the Humpback Whale migration is a must do, we were so lucky to be up close & personal with these amazing sea creatures.A huge thanks to our host Ros you have a wonderful holiday house, we will be back to stay again soon.

We had a lovely and very memorable family getaway, the house itself held a lot of character and charm. Situated amongst the edge of bushland we were able to hear an abundance of bird song each day, kangaroos and possums regular visitors to the property. Ros was very responsive to all my questions and dilemmas during our 10night stay, the house is large and plenty of room for everybody - the kitchen area was my favourite with plenty of cooking space. As a family we spent most of our days either Swimming at the beach or fishing off the Wharfs- 2 mins to Merimbula and 25 mins the other direction to Tathra made this location ideal, at night movies on the big screen in the huge lounge room or games. FYI- we have a very small and active cavoodle (7.5kgs), who unfortunately was able to fit through the verandah balustrades who then chased the kangaroos in the valley below in case you too have a small and quick little furry friend. Thank you again Ros for welcoming us into your beautiful space and for helping us make more beautiful memories with my family for the beginning of 2026.
