Beautiful spot. Wood fired hot tub was a highlight, some overnight train noise, but that was a minimal interruption. seeing the trains come through the spiral was a unique fun experience.
Had an excellent stay at the cottage with my family. Was the perfect location for a few days skiing, and the kids loved playing outdoors and the hot tub.

Very clean rooms. Lots of interesting artifacts on the walls. Very nice staff next door for checking in. The trains did not wake us up. The birds in the yard were entertaining.

Nice cosy place with heaps of fire wood and close to whakapapa ski field
Perfect place for a two night stay, no TV, kids had fun and great living area inside. Great location for going to the snow and other local attractions. Will definately go there again.
This is a great property to stay, full of character and very comfortable. Great location, lovely outlook and peaceful (apart from the odd train that rumbles through).
We stayed here one night during our road trip. Wish we had more time. Really cute place. Loved seeing the bunnies and our kids enjoyed the play equipment.
