Ruapehu Retreat - modern home away from home with mountain views

Right in the middl\e of National Park, with mountain views.

The perfect spot to enjoy our little slice of paradise. In summer fling the ranch sliders open and it's cool and airy. In winter choose between the cosy atmosphere of a log fire or convenience of the heatpump . Firewood is provided.

Super comfy beds with oversized duvets, electric blankets and plump pillows on all beds. Sheets and towels are provided.

Fully equipped cook's kitchen with all mod cons makes cooking for a family easy. Full size fridge/freezer and large pantry with loads of storage. Basic condiments are provided. Gas BBQ is available.

Great shower pressure with unlimited hot water and a large, deep bath for a relaxing soak after a hard day's skiing, biking or hiking. Master bedroom has ensuite. Both bathrooms have heaters and heated towel rails.

Large drying room gets a whole family's wet gear dry in just a few hours. Full laundry with large capacity washing machine and drier.

HD TV with Freeview, stereo and DVD player - we have a Sky satellite dish so take your decoder if you want to watch Sky. High speed internet is included (no data cap). Some board games, cards, puzzles and books available.

Special conditions:
No smoking, no pets. no parties.
Guests to wash dishes and remove all rubbish and recycling
Compulsory cleaning fee of $70 applies, to be left on departure.

Loved the house and the location

Amazing location and everything you'd ever need for cooking or entertaining is already at the house. It rained every day we were there so we spent a lot of time inside and we found the entire house well stocked for everything we needed.

Great place to stay for Tongariro Crossing

Very comfortable and well equipped spot in a beautiful location. We loved the Crossing and were fortunate to get great weather for it, but also enjoyed shorter walks in the area as well as the brilliantly designed mini-golf nearby!

Perfect base to do the crossing

The house was in mint condition, very clean. It had everything we needed and its location was perfect to do the Tongariro Crossing. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Perfect national park getaway
