The location is excellent for attending Cubs games and being in the heart of Wrigleyville. We have stayed in the area many times and understand the typical atmosphere, so we were excited to try this property.Unfortunately, a private event at Rizzo's on our 2nd night significantly impacted our stay. The music was unbelievably loud and continued until 3a.m. The sound and vibrations could be felt throughout the entire unit, making it impossible for sleep. Because of this, we would not feel comfortable taking the chance of encountering a similar situation again. Our group of 10 also had a reservation at Rizzo's after the Saturday game, but upon arrival we were told we would need to leave by 7:30 p.m. due to the private event. Had we known that in advance, we would have chosen another location for dinner and to spend the evening with our group.Future guests should know that access is by a steep staircase only. The listing photos also need updating, as the foosball table shown was not present. We were told this after booking, but said it would be replaced with a table and chairs (the front room was just empty). Parking was another challenge-we received conflicting information before ultimately booking a SpotHero space a few blocks away.Overall, the stay was poor to average for our group. It was nice having our group together in one place. However, the noise, communication issues, and parking challenges mean we will return to staying at the nearby hotel for future visits.
