About this property

Relax and have fun close to the beach.

Walk or play on the beach, play games around the house, or just relax among the small coastal community of Te Horo Beach. Just 10 mins from both Otaki or Waikanae shops for supplies or retail therapy. Plenty of games to keep youngsters or teenagers occupied - table tennis, badminton, quoits. Body boards available and are very popular.

Te Horo beach is an interesting beach with a good mix of sand, stones and driftwood. Plenty of variety for the creative types. The beach is only a few minutes walk from the house.

The house has been fully redecorated with new kitchen and new furnishings. Two bedrooms are in the house and one bedroom in the garage/sleepout.
Special conditions:
Minimum two nights bookings only.
No smoking on the property please.
Book for seven nights and pay for six.

NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to:

The very peaceful Te horo

We had a wonderful stay in Te horo. Easy walk to the beach. Its so quite there and dark. Plenty of room at the house. Beds are nice and comfy and the water pressure is fine. It was a perfect getaway only 1 hour away for us.

This is my partner an I second time going to this place its so piece full an so quiet we enjoyed our time there especially with the beach so close we watch the sunset, i recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away this is truly an amazing place, thanks to our host Chris all i can say is WOW your so awesome thank you so much! Summer break

An easy place to relax at . Great for walks on the beach ,especially when the tide is out in the evening . Being boomers we normally watch the 6pm TV news while eating dinner on holiday but the Chrome cast dongle was not picking up the signal at all some evenings . So we were glad we had brought a lot of DVD's and Cd,s for entertainment . We had a 45 minute power cut one evening (10pm till 10:45pm ) and were glad to find a candle in the kitchen . The 4.7 earthquake one afternoon made us feel at home (we live in Lower Hutt).But we got the complete rest we were after and came away happy . A great place to sit out side at night , view the stars , and see who spots the most satellites going by .

A real bach

Great traditional Bach with mod cons. Great area for kids but we left our ones at home. Handy to wedding venue and not overly expensive. Recommended for those that like a little bit of traditional Bach living.
