Harbour views from spacious 3 BEDROOM 2 BATHROOM house with decking in a setting of mature gardens and bush. Outdoor wood-fired pizza oven. Child sized canoe available upon request.
Omapere beach is 50 metres from the deck, go to sleep with sound of the waves.

You cannot beat the view

The home was quirky, but incredibly comfortable. My husband found the sauna to be the most therapeutic thing possible after the long drives from road trip.

The house was very comfortable with plenty of space would recommend to anyone, a real tranquil moment with the sound of the waves.Sorry we werent able to get any photos.We tried to book over the Christmas period Already booked.Thank you so much to the owners.

Communication was good, however would of appreciated a heads up my bed frame was broken and someone was coming to fix it, so not happy entering the home to find the mattress on the floor! No wifi and TV doesnt work. Otherwise we stayed in the home and had a really nice man next door that was very helpful

Very comfortable, spacious with a well appointed kitchen. My only complaint was the noisy road at the front of the house, at least the traffic stopped at night!

On arrival we were unable to open the lock box, so were unable to lock up when ever we went out.Pots and pans needed to be cleaned before using.Location was perfect.Would have been nice to of had some spices and oil available.

Every space had something remarkable.

Sauna was perfect. One bed was excellent. Nice location.No Wifi is a challenge. Friendly neighbor was helpful. It was a bit musty and chilly, but would stay again.

Large bach

Although an older style house, it is very clean and spacious with a large kitchen and lounge that opens onto a good sized deck - deck railing does need some attention though. Beds are very comfortable, water pressure in shower is great and there are a substantial number of books to read on a rainy day! There is privacy from road by shrubs and trees - a light prunning would enhance views of the water, especially near the house. Overall, a good place to stay, particularly for a family.

Quirky house just across the road from the water.

Stunning area, large well-equipped kitchen & living areas. Please note there is no WiFi or Spark cell-phone coverage (as pointed out by the owner). Garden probably not suitable for young children. If you want to use the outdoor pizza oven - bring some wood!

Omapere property dirty and misrepresented

We entered the property snd immedisely. My wife, who is allergic to mold, smelled mold right away. We further examined the property and found that the pictures online did not mstch the property. I took pictures and we left to find another accomidations. Pusuing a refund and filing complaint with VRBO.

More work to do!

We had read a review just before our arrival that concerned us regardling the units cleanliness, there is still some work to do. Mould around the bathtub, a broken rusty pair of scissors in a kitchen draw and ants in the kitchen. The pizza oven outside has a rusty grate, cobwebs, and grass cuttings in it. If it was me, I would remove mention of it in your listing. The beds were comfortable and the linens were good but the pillows need to be replaced.

We had a horrible stay. There were no instructions/information packet inside. We called to find out that there was no wifi at all - no one could get online (only one phone was able to connect - data roaming from US, expensive). There were no paper towels, tissues, shampoo, conditioner, etc. The toilet was disgusting - excrement left in it and the cleaning brush was broken in half. There was nothing to clean it with, not even toilet cleaner. The place was FREEZING - no (working) heaters in main rooms and bedrooms (except for one small space heater in one bedroom). There were spider webs everywhere, including a big one attached to the microwave. A giant cockroach climbed onto the table when we were eating. The deck was falling apart. We would never recommend this property.
