Great location but the layout was a bit odd. One of the bedrooms can really only be accessed by walking around the entire floor, unless you want to let them walk through the master. Overall a really nice place and the location made accessing all things downtown a breeze.

This home is an amazing property with excellent location for exploring McMinnville and wine tasting in the Willamette Valley. It was the perfect size for our group and was large enough to host a private chef dinner. We will definitely be reserving this property next year!!

Amazing stay in McMinnville!

This house was perfect for our group of ladies doing a wine tour. We loved the charming house and its perfect location. We had plenty of room for everyone, and the house was so comfortable. We walked to breakfast and dinner each night (We LOVED Cypress and the coffee shop in the Tributary. The McMenimans Rooftop was great as well!) and enjoyed a morning shopping in the cute stores on 3rd street. McMinnville is a great location for wineries as there are many nearby, and we spent a morning at Pacific City on the coast. The house had everything we might need, and we enjoyed chatting on the front porch, relaxing in the living room, and everyone said their beds were comfortable. We would recommend this beautiful home to anyone, and would stay here again.

Location, Location!

This historic home is ideally located within walking distance of downtown McMinnville with great shops and restaurants, including a wonderful food truck across the street. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well appointed. The team was very responsive when the internet needed to be upgraded. The front porch was great to sit, relax and chat.

Thank you for your kind words and for sharing such thoughtful feedback about your stay. We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed the convenient location, comfortable beds, and well-appointed kitchen, as well as the charm of the historic home. It’s also wonderful to know that the front porch provided a relaxing spot to gather and that our team was able to respond promptly when the internet needed an upgrade. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, but we are left wondering what we could have done to earn a 5 star review. Airbnb does consider anything less than 5 stars as subpar and we would have loved to know what could have been done to improve your stay! It was a pleasure having you as our guest and we would gladly have you back.

Charming little piece of history!

The home is on a dead-end street so not a lot of traffic. My husband and I LOVED the porch! This is a wonderful location and the craftsmanship of the home was beautiful, like a charming little piece of history!

Conveniently located

We had a fantastic time during our stay. It was a reunion of old friends and distant family, and it was so special to reconnect with everyone. This house turned out to be the perfect spot for our gathering. It struck an ideal balance of being both spacious and cozy, offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Plus, it was conveniently located within walking distance of several great places to eat.

A wonderful retreat

My family and I stayed in the most charming home in downtown McMinnville. We were comfortable in the spacious bedrooms and beautifully newly renovated downstairs bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed to cook. You can walk anywhere downtown and the neighborhood is quiet. We loved the front porch And sat out there mingling with a cocktail in the evening. Check in was easy and smooth. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for a great getaway!

Close to wine tasting!

A group of us women stayed here for a wine-tasting weekend, and it was absolutely perfect. The house is spacious yet cozy, with comfy beds and two wonderful bathrooms—one upstairs and one downstairs. There’s plenty of seating, an office space, and excellent WiFi. It had everything we needed to stay on top of work while also relaxing and having fun. It was the ideal spot for reading, playing games, and enjoying quality time with the girls!

Review for 726 Fourth – The Historic Wortman House

What a house! Staying at the Historic Wortman House was like stepping back in time with all the comfort of today. The history behind the architecture and the antique furnishings throughout made for great conversation pieces—each item seemed to tell its own story. Every room had a unique personality, offering a fresh experience with each turn. Best of all, the location was perfect—just a short walk to fantastic shops and restaurants. This home is a true gem for anyone who appreciates charm, history, and convenience.

Charming

Just one block off the main street in charming McMinnville! The large front porch is ideal for enjoying morning coffee or evening drinks. The house itself is warm and inviting, with a well-equipped kitchen and excellent showers in both bathrooms. We also loved the history of the home. The highlight, though, was the amazing local support team—they were quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!

We had an amazing time staying at this property for two nights and would love to have stayed longer. It was the perfect base for attending a wedding in the Willamette wine country. The house itself is gorgeous, and it is comfortably furnished with everything you need. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch, and in the living room. There was also plenty of space in the bedrooms and upstairs tv room for folks who wanted some time on their own. We walked to dinner and the shops, which are just around the corner from the house. Check-in and check-out were both easy, and communication with the host was timely, polite, and helpful. We want to come back and stay longer next time! All in all, a great stay.

Wonderful Historic Home

This spacious home would be worth a trip just to enjoy the beautiful woodwork. The original owner of this historic residence in McMinnville, Oregon has a park named after him. Located just a few blocks from the historic downtown and right across the street from a great brewery, it is still quiet and private with tasteful upgrades that provide a seamless up-to-date experience within an environment that evokes turn-of-the-20th century elegance. We visited during the rainy season, but were warm and toasty in this spacious residence. Comfortable beds, extremely well-stocked kitchen and responsive hosts. The only improvement I could suggest is to keep the exterior hardscape "de-mossed" and the porch furniture clean. We had some unexpectedly warm spring weather, but the porch furniture was uninviting. I'd also suggest replacing the kitchen rug and making sure the kitchen floor gets a mopping. Rest of house was spotless.

An Absolute Gem in Mcminnville

Our stay at this beautiful home was nothing short of perfect. If you are planning a trip to Oregon's wine country, look no further! What We Loved: The Prime Location: We were just minutes away from some of the best wineries in the region. It made wine tasting incredibly convenient and stress-free. Charming Small-Town Vibes: McMinnville is absolutely delightful. The neighborhood is peaceful, beautiful, and captures that perfect Pacific Northwest charm. Walkability: One of the biggest highlights was how close the house is to the local culinary scene. We walked to fantastic restaurants and cozy cafes every single morning and evening. The house itself was clean, well-appointed, and felt like a home away from home. The hosts have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable. We will absolutely be staying here again on our next Pinot Noir pilgrimage! Highly recommended!
