Feel at home in the ELLSTONE FARM HOUSE a rural gem! (Email ellstonefarm@gmail or text Jill 0272080026) for more information. 1km past Brackenridge ) available for up to 14 people. (You need to share!) LINEN IS NOT INCLUDED but available for hire $15 per person fee if you require towels, top and bottom sheets and pillowcases. Plenty of blankets, duvets and pillows. Please advise when booking or text Jill on 0272080026 at least 3 days before if linen is required. Because Ellstone is a big house a minimum of 4 guests is preferred please. Home away from Home! NB. A private sunroom with pullout couch, plus another pullout couch in kitchen/family area and also in lounge, make up sleeping arrangements for large numbers, and listed as extra bedrooms in Vrbo website! ELLSTONE is a spacious farm house with all the comforts of home offering 3 ENSUITE ROOMS and 3 living areas, 1 x log fire, plus 3 heat pumps, to keep our space cozy and eco-friendly. Because of this the fireplace in living room is strictly decorative. Private outdoor Spa (only onlookers sheep, or cattle) and large sunny decks. Exhale, and do nothing! Peace and beauty abound on this 900 acre sheep and cattle farm. Beautiful views of rural Wairarapa from the top of gentle rolling hills. A great walk .A short drive to Vineyards, Restaurants, Golf Course and Brackenridge. 4km drive from the Square. Tea and Coffee is included, plus sugar, flour salt,pepper, but all other food and drink needs to be brought with you.
Ellstone is an operating farm and activity can sometimes be operating closeby, and the private self contained annexe off the kitchen MAY be occupied, by Louise, our Caretaker. Your privacy is assured, she will respect your personal space. Plenty of parking space at back of house
Please leave the property and spa as found. A $25 fee for pet which must have it’s own bed and be supervised at all times please i.e not allowed on furniture or beds. NB If you need to cancel your booking go to “My Trips” and follow instructions.

Great size place for a large group. We were all happy and are keen to stay again in the future. It would be great if the smart TV could be in the lounge as we were all squeezed around the one by the kitchen watching the rugby. However this was fine and nice and cosy. Would recommend to others to stay here.

Beautiful setting in the countryside, and very lovely communicative host. The house was spacious and comfortable but it would really benefit from a refresh (eg kitchen equipment, games and linen). Also note the Spa is the small inflatable kind.

Lovely house with plenty of cutlery and plates. It was warm when we arrived. Beds very comfortable. But took a good 20 min to get in due to stuck key. Wifi has diff codes on two separate books. Spa is a plastic. Pool, not expecting it to be avail in winter maybe say that though. But a 4 pm entry and the cost and having to take linen and the stuck key just put some shade on what was otherwise a great property.

Peaceful and relaxing. Spacious, in a lovely garden in the country - a stone’s throw from Martinborough. There were just the two of us in the house that would comfortably hold many more. Luxury!

They offer their home to you, albeit they have a private flat which is occupied by Louise, their Caretaker, occasionally. They know what they want in a holiday house and hope they have provided it for you.

Why they chose this property

Quiet, rural, spacious. Sunny and shady areas, and if its raining, plenty of room inside with 4 sitting rooms. Only 4km from village. Big bedrooms, sleep 3 to 5 people and 3 bathrooms. Hen or stag parties welcome, but the house must be left as found and you need to bring your own linen, or sleeping bags, plus towels. I will provide linen for $15 per person if required, paid direct to my bank account or to Bookabach as above.

3 large bedrooms with ensuites plus private sunroom with pullout couch Four living areas for privacy if wanted. Outside spaces when you want sun, or shade. Working farm, and farm walks. Private spa pool, only onlookers cattle, or sheep! Tranquil - No neighbours! Only 4 km drive from Martinborough Square
