New part of NZ to explore.

Weather was on our-side, close to Abel Tasman for a day walk. Could use the kayaks on 2 occasions on the bay- just stunning. House had everything we needed, thank you.

Ligar Bay

We loved our stay at Ligar Bay. The bach was clean and comfortable with a great view. Communication with Wendy was great. Easy to get in and out of area. Great bay to stroll. Wish we had more time to try out the kayaks!

Stress Free House

I loved at how straightforward this place was. It is fuss free, but contains all the necessities you will need. I also love how they allow the tenant to do the cleaning (which is clearly outlined, and easy to do). Thanks so much to the owners.

Thankyou. To help keep tariffs lower, cleaning and linen are optional extras. It is straight forward and easy to clean but always checked and set up between stays.

Bliss

Bliss in heaven. Because we were mid week it was incredibly quiet and very dark at night. The perfect stay to relax and recharge. Walking the beach, quick drive to Wainui Falls and in full roar. Not to far was The cove ....stepping back in time beautiful fauna. Would go back for more and more. thank you.

Quiet seaside break

We had the rear cottage which doesn’t have as good a view as the front but was well away from traffic and passers by so very private. Comfortable bed, clean well equipped kitchen, good wifi. Although typical for NZ holiday cottages, overseas visitors need to know there’s no hairdryer, face cloths, or washing machine powder. Very handy to have the machine though, and undercover hanging area for laundry. Dishwasher takes 2.5 hours for a load. Overall very comfortable quiet spot, and 10-15 mins drive from Takaka with a good range of cafes and shops. Lovely nook of the country.

Fabulous as always!

Another fabulous stay at Beachaven. Our first time in the rear cottage but just as good as they front. Family friendly for the perfect holiday. We love Ligar Bay ❤️

Beautiful beach side cottage

Our wee family had a lovely stay at beachaven cottage. The cottage was warm and inviting with a stunning veiw of the bay! Thank you for having us, we had a magical weekend, be back soon!

Exactly what we needed

What a great little house. Nicely sized and comfortable with clean and tidy amenities. Really close to the bay and a fireplace across the road. The owners were great communicators. Would definitely stay there again.

Warm, tidy and beautiful location

Quick access to the beach and a short walk to the Abel Tasman memorial. The property is excellent quality, the best bach I've stayed in thus far (especially in this price range). The back bach doesn't have as great a view, but you could definitely see the ocean. There was a gale blew through while we were there, but the sheltered location felt perfectly save to ride out the storm.

Fabulous location in a modern spacious bach

We had a great time in an awesome spot. So close to the beach and having kayaks available to use was great. Thankyou Wendy and we hope to come back!
