Visiting Kairakau with overseas family

Great spot

A lovely spot. Great proximity to the river and the beach and welcoming interiors. The rooms are all separate, connected by a covered porch. Great friendly hospitality from the hosts.

We loved everything about our stay. The photos are beautiful & accurate but still don't do it justice. We were very happy with the accommodation, the views are stunning, the location is incredible & the kayaking is out of this world. Viv is a great host with the perfect blend of friendly & present but in no way intrusive. It was very hard to leave & we will definitely be back!

Loved everything about this bach as it’s just perfect accommodation, location for us. Beautiful beach right on the doorstep and awesome river to explore. Fabulous hosts who looked after us well. Love to be invited back next year.

Kairakau Beach is a fantastic place with an incredible landscape. The Quarters is a lovely bach; lots of room, very comfortable and well equipped. The fire in the living area is great for cooler weather. Mo & Viv were very helpful, kind and responsive. We had a wonderful holiday.
