As our second time back and still remain our first preference when in Hastings. Friendly hosts and flexible on request. Bella our dog feels right at home. All we need for busy days across the Bay. Thank you again for a nice stay and will be back.
We appreciated being able to self checkin until we got settled and then really enjoyed meeting the hosts the following day. The bed was very comfortable and the rural location beautifully private and peaceful and yet just minutes from everything.
Lovely wee cottage. Definitely self-service foodwise except for small bottle of milk. Hadn’t anticipated early morning activities in neighbouring orchards We had a topdressing machine start up at 6am Sat morning and 7.30am on Sunday. And guy next door was levelling driveway, round and around for at least an hour. Killed the serenity!Otherwise nice handy spot. Thanks.

Very disappointing and exaggerated review.
The early morning orchard spraying was a one off at that hour of the morning and all over in 10 mins
As for the neighbour levelling the driveway our bedroom is at the front of the house near the cottage we did not hear a thing
Really enjoyed our stay. Property was peaceful and in a beautiful area and the cottage was very cozy with all the needed amenities. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.
