We offer a comfortable sun-drenched holiday home with beach access only metres from the front door, and native bush right behind. Our modest beach house is located in a cul-de-sac of exclusive homes and offers a peaceful family retreat in either summer or winter. It's possibly the closest holiday rental to the beach.

The interior combines open plan living with easy access to wrap-around decks where you can enjoy the sea views in front and native bush behind the property.

Downstairs are two double bedrooms with comfortable queen size and double beds and a generous shared bathroom/laundry and separate toilet.
Upstairs is another bathroom and a giant kids' wing featuring 2 x near new king single beds and a wide-screen TV (plus board games and lego.)

The property includes off-street parking for 2 cars. Plus access to the private members-only Langs Cove tennis courts (2), subject to court side booking. (You can use our racquets but BYO tennis balls.)

Surrounding Mangawhai and Waipu Cove/township offer lots of activities - coastal walks, fishing, golf, wine tasting, farmers and craft markets, and cafes including the acclaimed Bennett's chocolate factory.

Special conditions:
- Your own bed linen (pillowslips/sheets) and towels is required as there is no local linen service available. We've tried to find one!
- Minimum bookings apply: Jan - 5 nights, all other months 3-night minimum.
- No parties, smoking or pets allowed on the property.
- No tents allowed on the site. We're respectful of our permanent neighbours so strictly no parties or loud music outdoors after 10pm.

Extras: Cleaning (Required, NZ$120.00 per stay)

DISCLOSURE: Following a spate of local break-ins and items stolen from our property, we installed EXTERNAL CCTV cameras to monitor the access points to the house from the street and adjoining land to satisfy insurer concerns. Please be assured there are absolutely no cameras inside the house to respect guest privacy. We reserve the right to keep these external cameras operational 24/7.
