Lovely character cottage

Relaxing peaceful time in Kumara. Kate made us most welcome, and our extended family enjoyed the cottage immensely.

A great place - wonderful sound bath experience and generally a haven of peace in beautiful part of the world. Love the hippy vibe!

Pleasant place to stay, facilities all good, there are some quirks with the place to get used to. There are campers out the back, but it is an opportunity to meet people if you want to.

Great Place for Family or Friends

Great accomodation with awesome facilities! We used it for a family trip with young ones but would also be great for a friends trip away. Kate was lovely and accomodating. Would definitely reccomend 😊

Perfect little villa for family getaway

Was awesome nice and warm Kate is a fantastic host we really enjoyed having no TV and playing board game brought us closer together as a family will definitely go back thanks again kate

A great location

There was 7 of us including 3 children. The villa was warm and cozy loved having a fire for when it got colder at night. Fabulous kitchen with everything you could need. The location was fantastic right in the middle but out of the hustle and bustle. So relaxing and peaceful with plenty of activities right on your doorstep. Kate was so friendly and super helpful nothing was a problem, She had great knowledge of things to do and see. We will absolutely be back to stay in the future. Highly recommend

Lovely secluded spot with everything you need, our two families with children loved the accommodation and location to lots of fantastic west coast activities, Kate was fantastic and accommodating, highly recommend

We loved this property.

We loved this property. It was perfect for our needs. We had a large group and so we booked out the house and dorms. The location is perfect - the middle of everywhere but away from everything. The host has thought of everything, so we didn't want for anything. I loved the jars of homemade relishes, jams and fruit available for sale.

The property is a wee piece of paradise well placed between Hokitika and Greymouth.

The property is a wee piece of paradise well placed between Hokitika and Greymouth. Being dog friendly is a huge plus. The cottage is adorable and super-comfy. Only thing is you feel really guilty if you're warm and dry inside the house while it's raining and others are out in the open (but covered) communal kitchen just outside the window!
