The apartment offers complete privacy, peace and quite, while still being within easy distance of the many attractions of Matakana Village and the surrounding coast.
The apartment is well appointed with a bbq, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge freezer, hot plate and associated accessories. Free wifi is also available
The apartment is designed for a couple, however, a roll away single bed and a port-a-cot are available on request.

My partner and I loved staying here for a weekend getaway. It was clean, tidy and had modern comfortable furnishings. We also enjoyed a BBQ meal in the outdoor area, while watching the sunset over the beautiful and peaceful Matakana valley. And the outdoor bath was a magical star gazing experience!

We really loved our stay here. The outdoor bath was a particular treat. The bed was super comfy and the place was in a beautiful and peaceful location. The only suggestion I would make is some more good sharp knives, the kitchen was otherwise well stocked with basics. We would definitely stay here again.

Matakana Valley Barn.

A perfect location for a holiday stay. Wonderful hosts. You have got to go there just to try out Grandma's Feather Bed. We would be back there tomorrow if we could. Plenty of birdlife and nice gardens.

This property is set in the beautiful countryside just outside Matakana. The vibe is tranqil and relaxing. You can sit back and relax in perfect comfort. It was a lovely haven from the demands of long days on the road.

Great location. Fabulous bed. Quiet and very comfortable. Unfortunately there was no gas for the outdoor bath. Hosts were very helpful.
