We enjoyed our stay with Ric and Julie. The apartment was bright, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. Ric and Julie were friendly and responded quickly when we had a question. The location was also great. It is in a quiet neighborhood close to Sandbridge Beach. We definitely recommend this rental.

The host were very accommodating, flexible and helpful. The amenities were exactly what we needed especially in the kitchen. Overall cleaniness was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was as comfortable and accommodating as our own home.

Best Hidden Gem of a Stay!

This is among the best stays we’ve ever had in VA Beach! It was the perfect space for my daughter and me (although next time we will bring the rest of the family)! Quiet neighborhood, yet so close to everything we wanted and needed, including Sandbridge beach! The hosts are super friendly and have everything laid out for an easy stay. EVERYTHING was very clean and modern; just as the pictures show! We will always have this place on our list of options to stay when back in VA Beach!

Awkward

The unit itself was quite pleasant, but there were several drawbacks. The constant noise of the owner and his wife arguing and shouting at each other disturbed our sleep. Since the unit was attached to the owner’s house, the exterior was cluttered and unkempt. To make matters worse, there was only one washcloth per person, which was insufficient for the four of us. We had to do the laundry twice to get clean towels for our four-night stay. Due to these issues, we will not be returning to this property. .

An Exceptional Property

Rick and his wife were excellent hosts. They made our stay very relaxing and comfortable. The upstairs apartment was spotless, quiet, spacious, nice and bright from all the windows. The new kitchen area was perfect and well-equipped for a small group or family. The swimming pool and backyard area with the tranquil pond and fire pit is a real extra to enjoy. We will be back for sure.

Beautiful property. The landscaping was lovely and it was fun watching the ducks in the pond. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel welcome. They supplied adequate kitchen equipment, and toiletries and beach chairs, etc. We had plenty of space. Pool was nice. My only concern is that VRBO did not provide me with the opportunity or phone number to talk with the host directly until one day before our arrival. I had to go through customer service to ask questions about the property and amenities which was laborious.

The property was extremely clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool and backyard are amazing!!! You feel like you are in an Oasis. The hosts are so nice and welcoming, they truly want you to enjoy your time with them. The location is great because you are close to stores and restaurants. There is a wonderful beach within 15 minutes. The Navy jets flew over a couple of days and we found that exciting.If we ever get back to Virginia Beach, we will stay here again.
