We're so glad you found the house clean and well equipped for your stay. You're absolutely right about bugs too, Chincoteague has its share, and that's why the migratory birds come in droves to the nearby National Park and Seashore...that's just part of enjoying the beautiful outdoors here! Future guests will appreciate the tip to pack some bug spray. It was a pleasure hosting a 5-star stay for you.

Pleasant stay in a pet-friendly environment
Self-check-in was very easy; the manager was very responsive. The environment was comfortable, and the decor was very nice in this quaint older home. As in many older homes, doorways have low clearance. If you like thick towels, you may want to bring some of your own. AC was excellent with use of mini-split remotes in every room. There is lots of space, a great kitchen, a large refrigerator, and a super dining room table. The outdoor shower is a great plus. The fig tree is remarkable.

Little bit of happiness
My experience was beyond perfect! The house and yard was perfect. The house was so cozy and had everything we needed. I loved the little game room.
I had looked at this property before but we booked another one due to the amount of people we were going to stay with. However everyone bailed and I was ecstatic that this property still had availability for roughly the same dates. Property was great and as advertised, very clean. We adored the porch especially during the kids nap time and for after dinner relaxation. The back yard was great for the dog and the giant fig tree added great whimsy.

So glad you enjoyed your stay Rebecca! Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. That fig tree truly is whimsical! Love that you delved into the little "secret garden" corridor. Always welcome!
