Beautiful penthouse with great location

We loved the apartment! Walking distance to Yaletown for some great restaurants. Walked to the little ferry to Granville Island. It was perfect for our family of four!

The unit is easy to access. Underground parking was good. The unit ihad 2 portable air conditioners which helped as it was hot. There are some minor repairs required, host has been notified.

Ridiculously loud portable air conditioners in both bedrooms..(I recorded them if you wish to hear the noise.) Sleep was nearly impossible.Broken or open unfinished light fixtures in 1 bathroom and 1 bedroomno nightstand or light in 1 bedroom, must turn off the overhead bedroom light from outside the roomTV system did not function ( 1 guest was an ex TV executive engineer...it did not work)Ongoing work in building, open tap and brown water came out....notices in elevator stating ongoing work plans...open hole in wall and ceiling with a garbage bin as one exits the elevator on the penthouse floor...Parking entrance blocked by ongoing construction, needed to move fencing to enter the underground parking.We have photos of the above mentioned issues.....paid way too much for what it was....

Hi Michael, I’m very sorry to hear that you’ve had a negative experience. I’d like to clarify a few of the points you mentioned: The AC units have a night mode, which operates more quietly. They are also top-of-the-line portable AC units. The TV needs to be used through the Roku device. This is explained in the welcome booklet that was provided to you. The lamp is currently being repaired, and I apologize for the inconvenience. Regarding the hole in the ceiling and the garbage, I’m not sure what you’re referring to. I was at the property just today and did not see either of these issues. If you could send me a photo, I’d be happy to look into it immediately. There is currently construction taking place next door, which means the alleyway is temporarily blocked on one side. Unfortunately, this is outside of my control and is a fairly common situation in Vancouver given the amount of ongoing development in the city. Regarding your concern about the value of the stay, I completely understand that this can be subjective. That said, I use a professional pricing tool to determine the nightly rate for the unit, and the property has consistently maintained outstanding Airbnb ratings. I’m sorry again that the experience has not met your expectations, and I hope this helps clarify some of the concerns you raised. Best, Alessandro
