lots of space

House had plenty of space for 7 adults, living areas could definitely accommodate an even larger group. Clean and well maintained for an older home with nice updates-nice and bright in living areas with many windows. Neighbors out for a walk very friendly. Beds were comfortable and our adult children enjoyed the pool table and ping-pong table. Awesome, spacious park w/in walking distance. We joked that we felt like we were in a giant tree house when we enjoyed time on the deck :) Only bummer was hot tub would not heat up.

The property was clean and the location was good for the activities we had planned. The game tables and games on hand made for fun evenings. The only real drawbacks were that the mattresses were not comfortable, there was a lack of lighting in most of the rooms, and not really anywhere to put your suitcases except the floor.

We're glad the location worked well for your planned activities and that the game tables made for some fun evenings. Thank you for sharing your feedback on the mattresses, lighting, and luggage space. Our mattresses are a high quality semi firm memory foam, though we know that firmness isn't the right feel for everyone. We've since increased lightbulb wattage throughout and added dimmable options for more flexibility in the rooms, and a suitcase stand has been added to each bedroom to give guests a better spot for their bags. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know how we can keep improving the stay for future guests.

We had a great stay here as a family! There was ample space for everyone and everything was clean. When we had trouble with the lock the host was on top of it and got it resolved having to go out of his way to help. We will definitely be back as this house was close to everything we had planned. It also had insane views for the first full moon of the year.

A gem!

This house was in a beautiful neighborhood, very clean, easy to check in, everything worked and was stocked with pretty much every game you can think of. Great sitting areas indoors and outdoors. We loved sitting on one of the decks and watching the birds. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful home for a family

This place has it all- pool table, foosball, darts, ping pong air hockey, a hot tub, and cornhole! They provided a booster seat for our grandson and there was room at the table for all 10 of us to enjoy meals together. The upstairs living room and kitchen make you feel like you are in a tree house with a mountain view!

The best part of this property was its location; 12 min. to Manitou Springs/Garden of the Gods, 16 min. to the Cog Railway, 5 minutes to the Olympic Museum, 5 min. to Walmart and a gas station; just to name a few.We enjoyed all the games provided at the house and it had a nice outdoor sitting area. Our trip was in early August. The house does provide air conditioning in the upstairs bedrooms only. The rest of the house was hot. A portable or wall-mounted air conditioning unit on each floor would make such a difference. The two box fans provided did not cut the muster.I recommend they hire a different cleaning service. The carpeted areas were vacuumed, but the hard floors were not clean. We found remnants from previous renters (ie, nail clippings and food) on both the upper and lower levels. Neither the refrigerator nor freezer was wiped out.The dishwasher wasn’t screwed into the counter so every time we pulled out a shelf, it fell forward on to the kitchen floor. No storage containers were provided in the kitchen. I stored our cut fruit in the stew pot, the only container with a lid. No Saran Wrap, no Kleenex, no oven mitts, no kitchen dishcloths/towels. The lighting was poor throughout the house but specifically in the main living area upstairs, the dining room, master bathroom and areas of the lower level. It wouldn’t take much to make the property so much better. But they have to want to.

Lovely neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Great, spacious, fun home with many great activities for the family. Good location in relation to Garden of the Gods (a must see) and Cheyenne Mt Zoo (we loved this zoo).We had a good time playing and making popcorn, relaxing inside and sitting outdoors!Bring your own towels! There aren't enough and they aren't quality.

The house was great. We loved all the games. The rooms were all very clean. We couldn't find any extra towels or sheets. But then discovered a bunch of towels in the dryer. The lint trap in the dryer looked like it hadn't been emptied in months. We could have made a towel out of the amount if lint that was in there. The king beds were very firm, and I like a softer mattress, but overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stary here again.

This property has lots of activities for the kids to do. I wish there was a description about the property only having AC in the upstairs bedrooms. We had family members sleeping on the couch and bedroom downstairs and wish we were a little more prepared with fans, the box fans provided couldn’t always circulate sufficient air. The hot tub was fine, but we wish we had known it was indoor considering the heat of summer and no AC. Our first night a fire alarm did go off for low battery. Overall, the property location and activities for the kids were definitely the highlights.

Hi Morgan, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we’re sorry to hear that some aspects of the home caught you off guard. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- We are updating the listing to clearly state that A/C is available in the bedrooms only.- While box fans are provided to help circulate air, we understand they may not always be enough during hotter days. We will look into seeing if any additional fans need to be added.- The hot tub is located indoors, and while this is mentioned in the listing, we’ll work with Evolve to make that detail even clearer.- The fire alarm battery has been replaced, and we apologize for the inconvenience during your first night. Thanks for taking the time to leave your review.
