We had some difficulty with the lock to enter but the owner walked us through it. We also had some difficulty with the sound on the tv in the living area and got locked out of the one in the bedroom. Otherwise the stay was great and we were well pleased with the property.

A Much Needed Respite—And SO CUTE!

We loved our entire stay at this sweet cottage!We were greeted with a jaw-dropping allée of blooming Crepe Myrtles that eventually lead to the historic main property. The cottage sits nestled among them to the left and is nicely situated for a lovely, secluded hideaway. Every room is a visual treat with thoughtful decor and it really set the tone for relaxation. For the majority of our visit, we played a very chill version of musical chairs and just moseyed from one relaxing spot to another. It was heavenly. The nearby amenities like parks, gardens, and, of course, beaches were amazing to visit. Scooting to Cape Charles proper was a short drive with delicious restaurants and shops full of gifts for friends back home. It was fantastic that there were so many relaxing, enjoyable things to do right close by, but retreating to this dreamland was just what we needed after a busy school year.It was perfect mix of entertainment and seclusion for some much needed rest. We enjoyed every moment!Thank you! 💖
