Kauri Coast Cycle Trip

We booked the cottage & apartment to accomodate our group. The host was welcoming & engaging without being intrusive. We made the most of the close proximity of the beach, a delightful cafe & a restaurant. It was a memorable & enjoyable stay.

Great place to Chillax!

We were made to feel very welcome by Bruce the owner, who told us a bit about himself and whanau, even gave us all a copy of the book he had written.Over the road from the beach, and close to shops.Great place to relax.Bed really comfortableGreat little set up

Comfortable and welcoming

Easy communication, i actually made the booking for my parents . Theu loved they're stay was warm , clean inviting. My parents loved it . Handy to everything we are from opo and being right in the middle and close to the road was great ! Definitely book again for them . The place wqs just what theu needed .

We really enjoyed our 2 nights here. With 2 adults and 2 young children it was very snug, but the amount of space was good as a base for our adventures around the Hokianga. Sunny windows, beautiful view of the sandy north head from the window, lovely sounds of the sea at night. Very heavy rain overnight but we were high and dry, no issues. Bruce was very welcoming and was close by if we needed anything (we didn't). The sofa bed was all made up for the kids when we arrived in the evening. The place is clean, cosy and well-equipped including a small but usable kitchen.
